Hmm, it seems that this is the least updated forum on this site. Kind of annoying but who am I to complian?

the only reason that it is the least updated area is because Full Metal Panic isn't well known to people. As of right now everything full metal panic is still in Japan, excapt what you can get out of Newtype.

Not only cause of FMP! stuff not being here in the states yet, there just really isn't much out there PERIOD with FMP. Tis a shame though, its such a damn good series.

I notice that the smaller the fan base for a series the better quality the fanfiction is. For instance, gundam wing is shown in on CN, and its a huge hit. Soon you find thousands of low grade fan sites that just degrade the reputation of the show. Lesser known anime is usually watched by those who can appreciate it more and fan based material that is created is generally more intellectually stimulating. Kare Kano is a good example of this. Of course anime otakus are inherently the intellectual elite of society

The small grade fansites usually go by the wayside eventually.
I expect more FMP fanworks to begin appearing this summer with the NA release. And hey, I think this forum's doing pretty good. We have just about ALL of the FMP fanwork produced so far (minus one Kaname POV fic on FFN).
I'm almost done with Dinner and Dessert. Ch 3 is complete and visiting the beta, ch 2 has like one scene missing. Geh. Ch 4 has 2 scenes to go...
Huzzah!
We should poke Dove for more of her GW/FMP crossover....
