Temper, Temper Chapter 2

Author's note: sorry I haven't been writing lately. Research papers and tests kind of get in the way.

"Heero?"
Heero was looking into his glass as if it carried the secrets of life. He didn't realize anyone was next to him until Zechs tapped his shoulder.
"Ah, the search party. 'Bout time you found me; Have a chair, while I drink the rest of the bar bankrupt," he replied to them all. Zechs was in complete shock. He never had ever in his life seen a more pub cluttered with drunken bodies. What made it worse, was that they were snoring as loud as an active battlefield. WuFei started yelling at Heero then, so Zechs didn't see the other room. Duo on the other hand, was doubled over laughing at the goat absently chewing on the hair of the drunks and the ram sitting on the fattest one.
"Heero! Have you lost all your senses?!" WuFei bellowed.
"Not yet."
"What are you thinking? What, you going to drink yourself to death? What is he drinking anyway?" he asked the approaching bartender.
"The 'Mixer Special' . You better get him outta here, before he drinks me dry. Never had a guy in here who drank this much. Not even when my pap was runnin' the bar."
"What;s in the mixer special?"Duo asked, finally controlling himself form giggling histerically as the goat picked up a beer bottle.
"Any alchohol known to man. Literally. Can't believe he's still concious. He drank four bottles of the stuff, that's his fifth there."
"Ok Heero," Zechs told him. "That's enough. Your gonna kill yourself."
"Yeah," Duo added. "Even I know better than to mix the drinks served me." He started to pull him up but Heero jabbed him in the gut with one of the empties, and through the other one at WuFei. It missed his head barely.
Duo was gasping when Heero, calmly replied," Not 'til the bottle is dry."
Zechs watched his antics with impatience. He just sat there with the half empty bottle and drank like nothing had happened.
Duo simply stood up dusted himself off and remarked," Damn, your a mean drunk. WuFei, you OK?"
"He missed. I think the drink is taking effect now."
He was right, Heero was swaying in his seat. The bottle fell out of his hands with a clunk. He drooped over the table and started to snore.
"Man, I owe him two now. Help me out here Zechs," Duo sarcastically muttered. As they carried him out Heero mumbled something that sounded like hippopotamus. Zechs was surprised the drinking hadn't weighed him down, but he didn't feel heavy at all.
"WuFei, grab my cell phone and call Quatre. Tell him we found him and we're taking him to the van."
"Right."
As they reached the van Heero groggily asked, " Where are the bees?"
"What?" Duo stammered.
"The bees. You know. Oh, there's one."
"Where?"
"Because, butter, bubble, badger, bureaucrat ... And bumble!"
"Whatever you say man." To Zechs," Geez, never thought I'd say this; I miss the old Heero!"
"Why did you do this to him Relena?Where are you anyway?" Zechs sighed as Heero finally passed out and fell to the ground before he got one foot in the van.

Relena woke up with a start. She had heard her brother tell her that she was needed. Didn't she? Relena gazed around her room, expecting to see him there. No one. She sighed; just a dream.
Knock Knock.
"Miss Relena?" Pagan politely announced his prescence before he turned on the Television for the early news broadcast." I made you eggs and toast. I'll get your bath ready."
Relena nodded as she watched the news. It was still pouring outside. The weather man said that it would clear up soon.
"... And on better news, Miss Relena Darlain is getting married to Xander Greham next week. Isn't that right Paul?" "Yes Jenne, You heard that right. Just moments ago I heard from the lucky guy that it would be at the Darlain residence..."
Relena spat her eggs out in shock. "Pagan?!"
"Yes Relena? Oh dear me. Should I call a press conference?"
"Yes, imediately!" What was going on?! I only went to sleep six hours ago and this is put on the national channel? Who is Greham anyway?
"Oh no!" she gasped. "Did Heero see this?" As the words left her mouth, she had Duo's number on the phone's dialing pad before she had it off the reciever. He would know if Heero saw it. He had to have. Didn't he say that they were in Paris for a little while?
"Duo here," he answered in a tired way.
"DUO! Is Heero there with you? What's going on, and WHY is the news saying I 'm getting married?!"
"Relena? Whew! About time! I knew you that it was a joke! Hey guys! She's not the one who started this. ... Aggh! Heero! Not in the van! Ewww. Put his head out!"
"What's wrong? Where's Heero?"
"Oh, he's here. He just got a tad drunk when that broadcast got out. Sheesh! He also got sick in my van!"
"Duo, I need to talk to him."
"Not right now Relena, trust me,"stammered Quatre in the background.
"Where are you anyway?"Zechs butted in suddenly.
"Sinq King...click..."
"Relena? Relena?! "

"Zechs?!" Relena cried. Clicking the phone on and off again, she made sure that it wasn't his phonw who turned off. Unfortunately, it was hers. That only met one thing; someone was coming, and he/she wasn't a friendly visitor.
Even as she went to her bed to pull out the gun that Heero fave her, her Pececraft ways were yelling at her; 'Are you crazy?!' ' Do you even remember how to use it!?' 'Don't become a killer at a killer's expense!'
"Pagan? We'll be having company."
"Very well miss. Should I call the dogs out? Or do you want the 'guests' to announce themselves before hand?" Miss Relena had become a grand defender of the estate since Miss Noin suggested 'booby traps'.
"Why else would I bring this out Pagan?" she remarked sarcastically as she aimed the gumn at an invisible target. 'People still believed that she was pacifist, even after she had clearly incited the world to fight against Dekim two years ago. Boy were they going to get a real surprise.'
