Disclaimer: Gundam Wing does not belong to me, and therefore, unfortunately, neither does Heero...
Author's Note: First time posting here, and writing a 1xR fic. It's just a short, one-parter, I'm stretching my writing muscles.
There was rain. It fell like teardrops from the sky, warm and wet, soaking her as she stood, still as death, in the middle of the field. She closed her eyes as she tilted her head upward, letting the water caress her face, catch like dewdrops in the thick fringe of her golden lashes, slipping through the opening between her full pink lips.
He watched her, silent and still himself, as the rain plastered her thin silk nightgown to her young, slender body, outlining each womanly curve… The sight of her stirred him. She always stirred him.
He pushed the physical reaction away, as he always did. He was the Perfect Soldier; emotionless, ruthless, needless. And she…She was a princess, an angel, a being far superior to his own.
“Heero…”
She whispered his name, and he felt it slither across his skin like good leather, and he supressed the physical need to shiver. Her head tilted toward him slightly, so that he could see her perfect profile through the mass of her silken hair. He took one step, one step and there was nothing but a few millimeters between their bodies.
“Relena,” he murmured, his voice monotone. Sometimes it seemed as if her name was the only word his vocabulary possessed. It was his talisman against the darkness that lurked within him.
She turned fully, her body pressed against his, her arms around his waist, her mouth against his neck. The move was so sudden that he could not protest the fact that he was unable to draw his gun in case of an assassin, he couldn’t move, couldn’t speak. He could only feel.
Her slow, even breathing fluttered over his skin. Her soft, lithesome body molded into his as if they were one being. A quiver, one he could not quell, coursed through his body, and he gave in, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her closer, if only for a moment.
There was no rain. It had drizzled away sometime during their silent discourse. They stood, trembling together, in the field, illuminated by the bright sun that had managed to find a breach in the gray clouds as the wind blew them away.
The breeze swept gently around them, cradling them, caressing them like lovers…And he felt. He allowed himself to feel.
If only for a moment.
End
Please tell me what you think!
