Chapter one
Melville's Best Friend
BTW....I can't find my Word documentation CD so that I can upload Word back on my comp....I can't spell for beans, and ya'll need ta' help me with that. I'm pretty sure I spelled Jamaica correctly, but if not, eh. *shrugs* The application I'm currently using, as if you didn't guess, has no spell check...I believe I shall die....
I believe I have some explaining to do before you guys read. ^_^ Here we go...This is a game show for all types of characters from a snorkle of different shows. There are a kaboodle of ladies and fellas. The boys and the girls are in an all-out competition for a reward of 50 thousand dollars for the winners. The teams participate in events, either mental or physical, and the winners of those events are awarded many points. The points are then tallied up at the end of each mission, and the top three players from each team make up an inner circle, and they have the tough task of sending one of their teammates home. The Battle of the Sexes is to determine which of the sexes really is the best.There will be certain times when I'll have the camera set on one person in a closed room, where they reveal what's going on, and how they truely feel...without the rest of their teammates hearing. These sessions will be italisized. Set in Jamaica, the battle has begun...

The sun is setting on the vast ocean, and both teams have gathered around a huge board bearing the names of themselves and their teamates. Everyone is talking and laughing, and when their hosts come out, they greet them merrily. Wicked and her sister, MBF, have slowly made their way out to both teams, and are greeting them all. Having already unpacked, the groups await their instructions.
"Welcome, ladies and gents to Jamaica, the island of...dreams and such" MBF pointed out, smiling. Rolling her eyes, Wicked spoke.
"One of you is going to leave here with 50 grand, and the rest...will take home some sweet prizes from your missions."
"I would suggest slumbering tonight. A pretty big challange awaits you guys early in the morning," MBF winked.
"Goodnight, you guys. We'll call you on these," Wicked passed out a mobile phone to each team, "You'll get a message telling you where to meet us, what to wear, and when."
"See you bright and early!" the sisters walked off, and let the girls and guys roam into their adjoining villas. They were both lavish, and each team had more than enough room to do whatever they pleased. There were game rooms, and swimming pools...Their villas had it all, and it was easy for the men and women to converse, as the villas were adjoining each other.
I am...A little nervous, because I don't know...ANY of the girls here...And also because Heero and I seem to be the only couple. I just, you know...don't want to give anyone a bad image of me...~Relena
"But Relena's with her BOYFRIEND!!! oooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!" Aisha jested, slightly punching Relena on her arm. Relena laughed, blushing.
"Just make sure that he doesn't distract you, girl. We're here to win." Mai winked.
"No way. I'm totally 100% in for the kill." Relena smiled.
The thing with Relena is...She's a good person. I mean, When this game gets ugly, and you know it will, she'll be the one no one will want to vote off, because she's the sweetest one here. ~Washu
Ray walked into a room seperate from the other girls, wanting to talk to Joy. A pissed look crossed her face, as she casually walked up to the nurse. Sensing rivalry, Joy tried her best to ignore Ray.
"Listen, I just want you to know off the bat that we're gonna' be enimies."
Joy looked at her."Ray, I've done nothing to offend you. Let's try to get along for once." Joy continued folding her clothes.
"No way. You've got a bad attitude, and you're a nuisance. You're not strong enough for this team, and I'll see to it that you'll be out."
"Put the past behind you. He never loved you. He loved me, we dated, it didn't work out for either of us. Let it go. Forgive and forget." Joy stated, slightly annoyed at all that was going on.
Ray and I have not been on good terms ever since the great "boy" incident that took place a year or so back. She has had me pinned against a wall ever since. She won't let it go. ~Joy
"You're a backstabing witch, and there's no way you're staying lnger than a day. I'll see to that."
"That's fine, Ray. Are you finished?"
"Don't even try to snub me off. It's you that's finished. I hope you enjoyed your trip down, cause it'll be over tomorrow."
"Great. Bye."
I'm not going to let it go because she betrayed me. Don't cross me, because I will tear you apart. ~Ray
Ray left the room, and Joy flumped on her bed, eager to confide with someone what had happened. At that moment, Sakura walked into the room.
She's a backstabber and a traitor, and the witch has to go if I'm going to have any fun here. I just don't like the girl. ~Ray
Joy told me about everything that happened, so I'm thinking that, even though this is wrong, I can't tell the rest of the girls because of the fights it would start within our team. Joy and I kept it to ourselves. ~Sakura
All I have to do is get on the inner circle...Otherwise...If Ray does, I'm out. She's manipulative. I'll be out. ~Joy
~IN THE MEN'S VILLA~
"We need...A sure fire way to eliminate whomever. I don't want all the controvercy I KNOW all the girls are gonna' have." Jim said.
"The weakest link should go. It's that simple," Lee stated, head bowed. Heero looked at him, and a smile crossed his lips. This kid was exactly like he used to be. "I agree" he stated. All eyes looked his way, understanding that it was the best way.
"This should be easy. I know a lot of the females over there, and there's no way they can beat us. We're out of their league" Gim gloated.
"I wouldn't count them out that easily" Yugi said.
"Many of the competitions are based on strength of the mind, that they are," Kenshin summed, "and I noticed Lady Washu has made it to the island."
The men nodded. Jim smiled, winking at Trunks. "But they're still a bunch of girls! We'll beat 'em!"
I look over and I see...All the kids together. Trunks, Yugi, Jim, and Lee. They've got their own little alliance. A little league of sorts. ~Heero
NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The women were sleeping soundly when a sergant rudely burst in, and started shouting at them to wake up. Startled, the girls eventually realised that this was a part of their first mission. They hurredly got dressed and ran outside-- following the orders they were given. The sergant did the same for the men, and soon both groups were standing in lines facing the sergant.
"Your mission today will require you to learn some maneuvres. I'm going to teach them to you. It is IMPERATIVE that you understan me. Otherwise, you'll be up a creek. Do you understand?" shouted the anal man. They each 'sir, yes sir-ed' their understanding. The sergant went through maneuvers with them until they were each able to do them well. He smiled, and gave them each a uniform consisting of kakhi pants and grey wife-beaters, and instructed them to meet him in 15 minutes by the ocean.
I'm standing there, doing all these....ridiculous moves...and I keep thinking...The guys have this in the bag...This is a physical challenge. ~Asuka
I...just want to wait and see what was coming up...But...I'm not hoping for the best. ~Relena
So it's a physical activity. Big deal. *pops knuckles* I got it in the bag! ~Aisha
I look over at the girls, and they're already scarred. I'm sitting here thinking we've already won! ~ Ash
"Welcome to your first challange, my friends." Melville said as she and her sister met the teams.
"Today you'll be playing Sergant Says, where you'll use the maneuvers you were just taught to play the game."
"Today you'll be competeing for a Blockbuster movie pass....Free movies or DVD's for a year." Wicked winked.
The groups shouted, ready to win the pass.
"You will also be competing for this: The Ion Lifesaver," she held up a small doughnut shaped peice of colored plastic. Melville explained: "The Ion Lifesaver is awarded to the winner of the challange. It can be used to save yourself or ANYONE else from being eliminated. This includes the opposite sex."
"Right. Now for the rules. There will be two people on a team. You guys are going to have to pair up for this. Sergant Mick over here will yell out "Sergant says" and then a command. Both you and your partner are to comply. If one of you messes up, you're both out. Does everyone understand?"
So, I'm sitting here, beyond worried because...Heero's an amazing listener...But then I hear the rest of it: He has to have a teammate. That's the downfall. If one of them messes up, then both guys are gone. Pow. ~Relena
I'm a pretty good listener. It's all up to who's my partner. ~ Ray
I'm panicked because...Everyone knows that guys aren't good listeners, so I think we have to be a little worried at this point. ~Ash
The sergant stood in front of them. "Are you all clear that I have to say the words 'Sergant Says' in order for you to begin?" Once they nodded, he smiled. "All of you, start jogging in place. The first team of girls and the first team of guys, stand tall..."
They complied, and everyone began running as the sergant started barking out commands.
"Sergant says doggie paddle"
"Sergant says cookies"
"Rev it up....Guys, you're out...Next two guys move up, you two girls go to the back, and the next two girls move up..."
I look over, and Ash and Ryo are the first ones out. ~Mai
I dunno. I guess I just...Wasn't paying attention...I don't remember how to do a lot of the commands, too... ~Ash
"Sergant says rev it up."
"Sergant says bike"
"Sergant says cookies"
"Doggie paddle...Guys, you're out...you all switch..."
One by one, the guys are out. ~Deedlit
They're dropping like flies. The ladies are up to the challange, man. Don't mess with us, dog. You're gonna' get burned! ~Aisha
I look over at the guys, and all they've got representing...are Heero and Kenshin. ~Sakura
"Seragant says...girls...you're out. You're not picking up your legs high enough...."
I wasn't even competing yet, and he tells me that while I'm jogging in place, my feet are too low...So now me and Sakura are out.~Mai
Ow...That was harsh...They weren't even playing you know...But the guys enjoyed it. ~ Aisha
"Sergant says cookies...Guys you're rolling the wrong way. You're out."
So...The guys got out because Kenshin rolled the wrong way. I look around...and the girls are the only ones left standing...All but ONE team....*flexes non existent muscle* ~Washu
Hey, they got us beat. Women can listen, that's all I'm saying. Women can listen. ~Jim
I think I put in as much as I could, and I'm proud of what we accomplished...But at the same time...The girls just mopped the floor with this game... ~Heero
The women represented, came together as a team, and beat the stuffing out of us. ~Lee

"Girls, you're out."
"Ladies, step aside."

So, it's up to me and Aisha and Ray and Washu. I know I listen well, and Aisha's the man when it comes to competing, so I know that we could probably pull off the win. ~Relena
I look over at Washu...And she's beyond tired. I thought she was going to collapse...She's so small...Washu's, like....My leg....She's such a little person.... ~Chi Chi
"Ladies, you're out..." Ray smiled as she looked at her tired partner, who had given up. She and Washu had lost. Relena and Aisha screamed and hugged each other when they realised that they had won. Basking in the glow, they ran to accept their prize.
"The winners of the Sergant Says competition, as well as a Blockbuster movie passes for their entire team, and the coveted Ion Lifesaver...are Relena and Aisha from the girls team!" MBF shouted happily.
Of course I'm happy. It's my girlfriend. That means basically I get the movies for free, too...No I'm joking. Of course I'm proud. ~Heero
Don't underestimate them. Okay I know that know. I'm good. Next time, we'll win. Take that chair from underneath them. ~Inuyasha
"No more late fees what? No more late fees, what?!?!?!" the girls all chanted in unison. They soon were instructed to follow MBF and Wicked back to the villas, where the scores were added up.
"The inner circle, which consists of the top three players of each team....Are...From the girls team...Aisha, with 25 points, Relena, with 25 points, and Ray with 20 points. From the boys team.Heero, with 25 points, Kenshin, with 25 points, and Lee, with 20 points." Wicked read off the huge board.
"Inner circles, you have one hour to decide who's leaving. Ion Lifesaver recipients, Aisha and Relena, I will need to know who you've picked BEFORE anyone is voted off. We'll see you in an hour."
I'm really happy I'm in the inner circle because...Now I have a chance to kick Joy out. ~Ray
The guys are going off whoever has the lowest points, and I'm their man. I'm dissapointed, yeah, but I understand. I didn't hold my weight. Just a little upset that I have to leave Jamaica, y'know? ~Ash
WOMEN'S INNER CIRCLE
"So, how do you want to do this?" Relena asked.
"I have no idea. Who didn't pull their weight as a compeditor?" Aisha asked.
"I think everyone tried their hardest. I mean, we outlasted the guys by far, so, I mean...We can't base anything off of that." Relena replied. Aisha glanced at Ray.
"What do you think?"
"I think that Joy needs to go."
"Joy? Why Joy? Was she the first one out?"
"No, but she was one of the first."
"Joy's third from last." Aisha piped, "That's not bad considering."
"She's not a team player, though, is what I'm saying."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, she's never talking to any of us. She's stayed by herself this whole time, and the majority of the time, she's writing letters to people back home."
"So she's shy. Big deal." Aisha said, twirling a peice of hay in her mouth.
Relena stared at Ray. "Is this personnal?"
"No. I just...Don't feel that what she's doing is...what's best for our team. If we want to win, I think we need to come together as a whole."
Relena looked at Aisha, who shrugged.
I know that Ray's in the inner circle, and she's probably got it in for me, but, at the same time, I'm not on the bottom. If they're playing the game fair, I shouldn't be leaving, though I won't get my hopes up. ~Joy
I am....in last place right now...And...I think I'm going home. *shrugs* There's not a lot I can do...Just....Take it easily when they tell me! ^_^ ~Mai
ONE HOUR LATER...IN FRONT OF THE VILLAS
"Men, you're up first" MBF gave them the floor. Heero spoke for the inner circle.
"You guys, we came upon an agreement, and we're gonna' keep it. Ash, we're sorry to see ya' go, but...You're out."
I admire wat they're doing. I do...But I know that girls...Don't work that way. Our game will get ugly. It's our nature. ~Deedlit

"Ladies, will the inner circle please step up," Wicked said as she gave them the floor. Relena spoke for them.
"The person that we've decided to vote off is a very sweet, very kind person, but we felt that, for the good of the team, we can't have some loners. So...I'm sorry, Joy, but...we feel you need to go"
Okay...No. I thought it WAY too much. I know Ray's the one that brought that up, and I find it beyond low that she didn't just stand up there and say "I don't like you, you're leavin'" ~Sakura
The men looked at the girls as if they were crazy, and Joy just went to the front, and bowed. Relena gave her a hug.
Ray has played them. That's all I can say. I know Relena and Aisha were just pawns---and they were payed. ~Joy
Okay, in order for me to have a good time, she had to go. I can't stand her. Bye, Joy. ~Ray
MBF broke the jaw-dropped silence, and looked at the ion holders. "Relena, Aisha, are you two ready?"
"We're giving the ion to Washu beacuse she faught the battle of tiredness for her team, and she pulled through with no brain damage..."Aisha cheered.
BACK IN THE WOMENS VILLA, AFTER ASH AND JOY LEFT.....
"I dont understand, what?" Relena asked. She and Aisha were confronted by Sakura.
"I swear to you. Ray just went up to her and cussed her out, you guys. This was a personal issue, and I'm not blaming it on you guys, but she did this for personal reasons."
Aisha clentched her teeth, and through narrowed eyes focused on the waves outside. Relena closed her eyes and flumped on the couch. "We've got a problem" she sighed.

I don't approve of how much Ray seems to be bossing everyone around. It's getting frustrating. ~Deedlit
Asuka...has found a "common bond" with Heero....We have all noticed it, but Relena's taking it calmly...I think she'd rather not start a fight...But were I Relena, Asuka would be off him...NOW. This won't end nicely, no matter how hard Lena treis to avoid it...~Washu

The sergant stood in front of them. "Are you all clear that I have to say the words 'Sergant Says' in order for you to begin?" Once they nodded, he smiled. "All of you, start jogging in place. The first team of girls and the first team of guys, stand tall..."
They complied, and everyone began running as the sergant started barking out commands.
"Sergant says doggie paddle"
"Sergant says cookies"
"Rev it up....Guys, you're out...Next two guys move up, you two girls go to the back, and the next two girls move up..."
I look over, and Ash and Ryo are the first ones out. ~Mai
I dunno. I guess I just...Wasn't paying attention...I don't remember how to do a lot of the commands, too... ~Ash
"Sergant says rev it up."
"Sergant says bike"
"Sergant says cookies"
"Doggie paddle...Guys, you're out...you all switch..."
One by one, the guys are out. ~Deedlit
They're dropping like flies. The ladies are up to the challange, man. Don't mess with us, dog. You're gonna' get burned! ~Aisha
I look over at the guys, and all they've got representing...are Heero and Kenshin. ~Sakura
"Seragant says...girls...you're out. You're not picking up your legs high enough...."
I wasn't even competing yet, and he tells me that while I'm jogging in place, my feet are too low...So now me and Sakura are out.~Mai
Ow...That was harsh...They weren't even playing you know...But the guys enjoyed it. ~ Aisha
"Sergant says cookies...Guys you're rolling the wrong way. You're out."
So...The guys got out because Kenshin rolled the wrong way. I look around...and the girls are the only ones left standing...All but ONE team....*flexes non existent muscle* ~Washu

I think I put in as much as I could, and I'm proud of what we accomplished...But at the same time...The girls just mopped the floor with this game... ~Heero

"You rolled the wrong way..You're out..."
So, it's up to me and Aisha and Ray and Washu. I know I listen well, and Aisha's the man when it comes to competing, so I know that we could probably pull off the win. ~Relena
I look over at Washu...And she's beyond tired. I thought she was going to collapse...She's so small...Washu's, like....My leg....She's such a little person.... ~Chi Chi
"Ladies, you're out..." Ray smiled as she looked at her tired partner, who had given up. She and Washu had lost. Relena and Aisha screamed and hugged each other when they realised that they had won. Basking in the glow, they ran to accept their prize.
"The winners of the Sergant Says competition, as well as a Blockbuster movie passes for their entire team, and the coveted Ion Lifesaver...are Relena and Aisha from the girls team!" MBF shouted happily.
Of course I'm happy. It's my girlfriend. That means basically I get the movies for free, too...No I'm joking. Of course I'm proud. ~Heero
Don't underestimate them. Okay I know that know. I'm good. Next time, we'll win. Take that chair from underneath them. ~Inuyasha
"No more late fees what? No more late fees, what?!?!?!" the girls all chanted in unison. They soon were instructed to follow MBF and Wicked back to the villas, where the scores were added up.
"The inner circle, which consists of the top three players of each team....Are...From the girls team...Aisha, with 25 points, Relena, with 25 points, and Ray with 20 points. From the boys team.Heero, with 25 points, Kenshin, with 25 points, and Lee, with 20 points." Wicked read off the huge board.
"Inner circles, you have one hour to decide who's leaving. Ion Lifesaver recipients, Aisha and Relena, I will need to know who you've picked BEFORE anyone is voted off. We'll see you in an hour."
I'm really happy I'm in the inner circle because...Now I have a chance to kick Joy out. ~Ray
The guys are going off whoever has the lowest points, and I'm their man. I'm dissapointed, yeah, but I understand. I didn't hold my weight. Just a little upset that I have to leave Jamaica, y'know? ~Ash
WOMEN'S INNER CIRCLE
"So, how do you want to do this?" Relena asked.
"I have no idea. Who didn't pull their weight as a compeditor?" Aisha asked.
"I think everyone tried their hardest. I mean, we outlasted the guys by far, so, I mean...We can't base anything off of that." Relena replied. Aisha glanced at Ray.
"What do you think?"
"I think that Joy needs to go."
"Joy? Why Joy? Was she the first one out?"
"No, but she was one of the first."
"Joy's third from last." Aisha piped, "That's not bad considering."
"She's not a team player, though, is what I'm saying."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, she's never talking to any of us. She's stayed by herself this whole time, and the majority of the time, she's writing letters to people back home."
"So she's shy. Big deal." Aisha said, twirling a peice of hay in her mouth.
Relena stared at Ray. "Is this personnal?"
"No. I just...Don't feel that what she's doing is...what's best for our team. If we want to win, I think we need to come together as a whole."
Relena looked at Aisha, who shrugged.
I know that Ray's in the inner circle, and she's probably got it in for me, but, at the same time, I'm not on the bottom. If they're playing the game fair, I shouldn't be leaving, though I won't get my hopes up. ~Joy
I am....in last place right now...And...I think I'm going home. *shrugs* There's not a lot I can do...Just....Take it easily when they tell me! ^_^ ~Mai
ONE HOUR LATER...IN FRONT OF THE VILLAS
"Men, you're up first" MBF gave them the floor. Heero spoke for the inner circle.
"You guys, we came upon an agreement, and we're gonna' keep it. Ash, we're sorry to see ya' go, but...You're out."

"Ladies, will the inner circle please step up," Wicked said as she gave them the floor. Relena spoke for them.
"The person that we've decided to vote off is a very sweet, very kind person, but we felt that, for the good of the team, we can't have some loners. So...I'm sorry, Joy, but...we feel you need to go"
Okay...No. I thought it WAY too much. I know Ray's the one that brought that up, and I find it beyond low that she didn't just stand up there and say "I don't like you, you're leavin'" ~Sakura
The men looked at the girls as if they were crazy, and Joy just went to the front, and bowed. Relena gave her a hug.
Ray has played them. That's all I can say. I know Relena and Aisha were just pawns---and they were payed. ~Joy
Okay, in order for me to have a good time, she had to go. I can't stand her. Bye, Joy. ~Ray
MBF broke the jaw-dropped silence, and looked at the ion holders. "Relena, Aisha, are you two ready?"
"We're giving the ion to Washu beacuse she faught the battle of tiredness for her team, and she pulled through with no brain damage..."Aisha cheered.
BACK IN THE WOMENS VILLA, AFTER ASH AND JOY LEFT.....
"I dont understand, what?" Relena asked. She and Aisha were confronted by Sakura.
"I swear to you. Ray just went up to her and cussed her out, you guys. This was a personal issue, and I'm not blaming it on you guys, but she did this for personal reasons."
Aisha clentched her teeth, and through narrowed eyes focused on the waves outside. Relena closed her eyes and flumped on the couch. "We've got a problem" she sighed.
NEXT TIME, ON BATTLE OF THE SEXES.......
I don't approve of how much Ray seems to be bossing everyone around. It's getting frustrating. ~Deedlit
Asuka...has found a "common bond" with Heero....We have all noticed it, but Relena's taking it calmly...I think she'd rather not start a fight...But were I Relena, Asuka would be off him...NOW. This won't end nicely, no matter how hard Lena treis to avoid it...~Washu

The girls seem to be falling apart...Something about Ray and Asuka....Not a lot of light's been shed on it, but we're thinking there's something bad gonna' start from all this....Ryo
