The rain pattered on the window as the vice foreign minister gazed out on the dormant rose garden, sipping her tea. She closed her eyes, imagining Heero's strong arms around her, almost being able to smell his spicy scent on the shirt of his she was wearing. He had left a week ago on a "mission". All he left was a note saying he had some things to sort out and that he loves her very much. She hated it when he wasn't in the bed with her, it made the nightmare so much worse. Every time she shut her eyes she'd see the blonde woman shielding a 4 year old Relena from an explosion, sacrificing herself so that Relena may live. Then Relena would wake up, an icy sweat trickling down the small of her back.
Relena started as she felt a presence in the room, dropping thetea to the floor.
"I wasn't expecting you to be awake," a dark figure from the doorway stated.
"Heero?" Relena breathed a sigh of relief as he strode confidently across the room, wrapping her up in his arms.
"You're so tense," he put his hands on her shoulders rubbing gently.
Relena turned away,"I'm fine. I was worried about you and having trouble sleeping," she whirled around, giving him "the look"
He put his hands up in defeat,"ok, ok, I'm sorry..." he paused, a smile playing on his face," I missed you too, Lena," his thought strayed for a moment on the information he found," Let's go to bed."
He led her to the bed, thinking about the name on his birth certificate that he found after hacking into the government databases. The part that bothered him was that he couldn't find any information on the woman who was supposed to be his mother," Hn...Lina..."
Relena looked at Heero with conern written on her face,"What's wrong?" her expression grew darker," and who's Lina?"

Trowa shuffled through the things of his father's in the attic of the house he and his sister lived in when they were children. When their parents were alive. He wished he could remember more about them, Cathy was only a little older than him and didn't remember much about them either. All she could remember about their mother was that she'd have gotten along just fine with Wufei. Their father was really quiet, kinda like Trowa, so she didn't really remember anything. He shuffled through some papers and odd-looking trinkets. His hands hit a book at the bottom," This looks like a diary," he frowned at the lock on it and took it down to the kitchen to his lock-picking set.
Catherine stopped, sensing an evil energy. She turned around in the direction of her house, coincidentally being the source of the engery,"Oh no! Trowa!" she abruptly ended her midnight jog and started running back to the house.
Trowa rummaged through the fridge and grabbed a beer. He scrutinized the lock, picking the correct tool,"There. Almost got it," As he heard the lock open, a strange light shot out throught the book, engulfing him like fire,"Ahhhhggg!" he screamed as Cathering burst through the door, but she was too late.
"Oh god! Trowa!" she screamed, running to his aid, but all too late as he lay unconcious on the floor, now metallic blue hair and skin glowing softly in the moonlight," Dammit, Trowa, why do you always have to be so stubborn all the time?" she cursed herself for keeping so much from her brother as she took him to his room to rest. She sat down by his bedside, knowing he didn't need to be alone when he awoke.
