Blissful Ignorance

2nd place winner in both the Best Drama and Best Sap categories of the 2001 Destiny Fanfiction contest.

This is based on the movie of the same name, but only loosely follows the sequence of events. Heero dies protecting Relena, but an alien being shows up a year later, looking exactly like him. Is it really Heero?

Oh My God!!!! This is truly a masterpiece!! The whole story...it was breath taking, I couldn't stop reading it from the moment I started. It was so heart breaking yet so beautiful and amazing...I cried when I learned of the alien's fate, that he would leave Relena either dying or returning to his home. Nonetheless, I loved the final scene, where Relena receives this blessing, starting her life all over again, with Heero and a baby. ^^

This story truly touched my heart.

Wonderful job, this is all I can say.

That's funny, i thought i'd replied as well! This was absolutely astounding, unique from all other fics that I've ever read at least. Wonderful! I enjoyed the new scenario with great intrigue. The ending was perfect!

OH wow, the tears just won't stop flowing! That was too beautiful, I can't even begin to describe how I feel! That was a truly beautiful fic. Keep up the fantastic work!

I know I reviewed this at ff.net, but I just had to again, cause it was that damn good! No, more than good - AMAZING.

* looks at awards * And it looks like I'm not alone in my opinion. Very well deserved, those awards.

Not only was the plot original and absolutely consuming, you gave a Disney ending! * tears * When I had thought the fic couldn't get any better, you brought Hee-chan back! Oh, I could kiss you, but I won't. How about a hug, eh?

damn, wsprs, that was spectacular! I absolutely love your writing style! Oh God, that was such a great story. I didn't think that the ending could possibly be happy, you definitely pleasantly surprised me.
