Finding Out The Hard Way (11)

Yea....
Heero woke up in a cell. His head hurted like hell. He could tell that his left cheek was swollen and his forehead was bleeding.
He looked around the cell trying to find a way out. There were no window's and he wasn't even sure if there was a door because it was so dark.
He heard a moan behind him and turned around.
"Relena!"
He ran towards her and helped her up. Her head was bleeding also.
"...He..Heero?"
"Are you okay?"
She stood up but almost fell back down but Heero caught her and got her back up.
"Wha what happened?"
"We were tricked by Jacob."
She turned away from Heero.
"Why did he turn out like this? He was so nice."
Heero just glared at her.
"Don't tell me Heero. I know what you are going to say. You were right and I was wrong."
"I wasn't going to say that. I was going to say that you were stupid to think that he was a good guy."
She gave a little laugh. "That's so like you."
Just then a light went on and the door swung open. Jacob came in with a wet towel.
"Relena, Heero." He came over to wipe Relena's forehead but she backed away.
"Come on now, don't be afraid of me."
"Why Jacob?"
"Why? Because I hate you! Your stupid ideas of peace. My family were one of the groups who helped Mariemaia because she offered them to live like kings for the rest of our family's life, but no. You, Heero and the others came and ruined everything! I have been following you around since the end of the Mariemaia incident. I have been watching you every single way to figure out how to get rid of you."
"So you tried to act like the.."
"Perfect man, not the Perfect Solider like your love over there."
Heero gave Jacob a death glare but Jacob ignored it.
"I really don't understand how you could still love a man who has no feelings for you. You told him everything you had inside of you but he just threw it away like it was nothing."
Relena put her head down.
"Well enjoy your time left with each other for you both will be executed."
Jacob left leaving the wet towel on the ground.
Relena still had her head down and Heero just watched her. He picked up the towel and tried to wipe her forehead with it but she just slapped his hand away.
"No please, don't Heero. Just..leave me alone."
"Relena."
"I figure you probably don't want anything to do with me. Besides, I got you into this mess in the first place."
Heero threw the towel down. "So are you just going to stay here and wait to die to that bastard?"
"There is nothing else to do."
"Relena are you stupid or what? You are beginning to sound like me. You would never give up, especially over a man!"
"I did once already so what differnece does it make?!"
Heero stopped yelling and thought. 'she gave up on..me.' he thought.
He started walking towards her but everytime he took a step, she would take a step back.
"Relena."
"Please Heero. Dont' come near me. I don't want to get hurt again." Her back now touched the wall and Heero was right infront of her but there was something differnet about him. His eyes weren't intense like they were a little while ago. It softened up.
He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight. She tired to pull away from him but he wouldn't let go. She finally gave up and wrapped her arms around his neck and cried.
"Relena. I would never hurt you..its just that..I don't know how to show you how I feel."
"Just say it Heero. There is nothing wrong with talking. Humans were born to talk out there emotions."
He nodded. " Relena..I love you." he lifted up her chin and was about to kiss her when they heard voices outside and the door swung open again.
Guards came running in and seperated the two. Heero fought his way through them and tried to reach for his gun when he remember that he gave it away to Jacob. The guards started kicking him and Heero tried to fight back there was just too many. He couldn't lose now, not after what had just happened.
'Relena.' he thought he looked over and found her already tied up with Jacob standing right next to her. Heero stopped moving and the guards tied him up too.
"Now now Heero. I left you two in here to say your good bye's not to make out." he said smiling as he licked Relena's cheek.
"I am going to kill you Jacob."Heero growled.
"It's just a shame that you are going to die without even giving Relena a kiss. Unfortuntally, I got some many oppertunites and I took them all unlike you."
Relena's eyes watered and the guards dragged her away while the guards started beating the crap out of Heero.
' So this is how I am going to die? In front of a bunch of soliders, losing to a jackass, and losing to the only person that I ever loved?' he thought.
Heero did something that he had never done in his whole life, he prayed.
He asked that if he didn't make it to Relena, then he wanted to say sorry for not being there for her earlyer.
He felt himself losing contact with the world when a voice popped in his head.
So you are just going to give up now?
'Who..who are you?'
This is not the Heero Yuy I know.
'Ze..Zero."
Forget the girl for now and think of this as a mission.
As much as Heero hated too, he had no choice. He pushed a guard off of him and kicked him hard in the crotch. He grabbed a stick that the guard had and hit another guard hard across his back. He punched someone behind him and grabbed the guard's gun and shot him. He felt something dig into his shoulder and he growled. A knife was stuck in his shoulder he pulled it out fast so it wouldn't hurt as much and threw it at the last guard in the room through his throat.
There he was, kneeling in a room filled with four guards dead on the floor. He felt stick blood dripping down his arm. He ripped a piece of clothing from one of the guards shirt and tried his best to wrap it around his shoulder. (that must be hard)
Now that is the perfect solider that I know, but this isn't over yet, you have to kill the one who started this all in the first place.
"I...I have to break my promise and kill again.."
That doesn't matter now. Just finish the job!
Heero's eyes turned a kind of red color.
The girl is not important if she is dead, right? But we don't have time for her. You have to finish this so don't you think about her or you have failed!
Heero grabbed a gun and put it down somewhere in his pants. He took the knife that he got stabbed with in his pocket and he picked up another gun to carry in his hands.
If you just happend to walk in the room now then you would probably die for Heero Yuy once again became the Perfect Solider.
"Zero..guide me through my mission."
