Finding Out The Hard Way (9)

Well I still have more ideas for other stories so i better try to finish this fic first. Please write me comments about how you think about my stories even if they are about my other ones so I can see if I am wasting my time with this or if I should go on. Thanx.
"He is such a jerk at times that it drives me god damn crazy." said Hilde.
She and Relena were in Relena's room helping her get ready for her date with Jacob that night.
"I'm sure he meant no harm Hilde. You know Duo, he just uh...he just...he's just Duo."
"Wow I feel so much better now."
Relena laughed. "Give him sometime to figure out what he did wrong."
"Haven't I been doing that for like..ever? Man I don't know why I married that braided baka."
"Because you love him that's why."
Hilde smirked. "Relena I can't wait to see you get married."
"Hah, if I ever do."
They both laughed.
Heero was sitting downstairs with Duo.
"Are you finally going to go home today?"
"You sound like you want me out."
"Uh yeah."
Duo pouted."Just because she came back doesn't mean that I have to go back."
"It does if I say it does."
"This isn't even your damn house!"
"Relena just doesn't know how to say no to others."
"Yeah but that is why everyone loves her."
Heero just sat still. 'It's true.' he thought.
The door bell ran and Duo went to go answer it. Heero didn't even move from his spot on the couch.
Duo greeted Jacob and he walked in. He was in some nice black dress pants with a button down white shirt and he had it untucked which made him look sexy.
Heero took one look at Jacob and really wanted to keep Relena in the house.
"Hey Heero." said Jacob as he walked in.
"Hn.." Heero just sat there with his eyes closed and his arms crossed.
Duo cleared his throat. "Heero aren't you going to get Relena?"
"Why?"
"I'll go get her. What room is she in?" asked Jacob.
Heero jumped up. "I'll get her." he glared at Jacob and went up the stairs. Jacob turned around to look at Duo and he just shrugged.
"I'm sorry if Duo caused you any trouble staying here."
"No he acts like he always does. You make it sound like I was babysitting a little boy."
"You telling me that he doesn't act like one?"
They laughed again and there was a knock on the door.
"Yes?"
"Your DATE's here." said someone in a really grumpy voice.
"Why does Heero sound so pissed off?" asked Hilde.
"I have no clue. I guess he just doesn't like Jacob but I can't see why. Jacob is really nice."
"Who cares about his personality, he's got a fine ass."
"Oh god Hilde."
They laughed..again.
"Hurry up!"
"Alright i'm coming." Relena stood up."So..how do I look?"
Hilde gave her thumbs up.
"If you don't knock Heero over when you walk outside then he is just hopless right there and that means that you can just go on with Jacob."
Relena opened the door and Heero turned around to look at her but was amazed by her beauty. She was wearing a blue dress and the skirt part to Heero showed a little to much leg. She twirled around in front of him.
"So what do you think?"
He went back to his normal state. "It isn't me that you are going out with."
he said in his cold voice. Relena rolled her eyes and walked down the stairs.
Hilde elbowed Heero in his side and followed Relena.
"Wow Relena..you look awsome." said Jacob. She was happy that for once someone was talking there age.
"Thank you. You look quite handsome yourself."
He took her hand and kissed it. "Shall we?"
"Yes of course." she said with a smile.
"Have a good time you two." said Hilde. Duo gave a sly grin and hit Jacob on the shoulder. "Yeah but just don't have TOO much fun now unless you have protection. OW...!"
Heero smaked Duo on the head and his left eye twitched. Jacob and Relena blushed. "Come on you guys, your making it sound like as if you all were my parents, I already have a over protectice brother...which reminds me. None of you told him that I was going out right?"
Hilde hit Duo. "I swear I kept my mouth shut this time!"
Relena and Jacob left for there dinner reservations while Hilde and Duo talked things over.
"I swear baby I will never, ever ever ever do those things again."
"Promise?"
Duo put a hand over his heart. "Cross my heart and hope to die. Stick a niddle in my eye."
Hilde just laughed and they gave a long kiss which digusted Heero so when they didn't pull away for a long time, he gave a loud cough and Duo glared at Heero.
"Well Heero we'll be off then."
"See you later buddy."
Heero sat back down on the couch and let out a sigh.
'Why do I care if she goes out or what? It's not like I want to...right?'
"Augh." he put his hands on his face and went upstairs to his room to work on his laptop.
2 hours later he heared a car come into the driveway. He was sitting in the dark with only the light from his laptop on. He went to his window and watched Relena and Jacob get out of the car.
"Thanks Jacob I had a really great time."
"Maybe we can do it again sometime."
"I would really like that."
It was quite for a bit until Jacob leaned in and kissed Relena.
Heero saw everything and his fist clutched together that his knuckles turned white. The worst part about it was that Relena didn't pull away.
After awhile Relena broke the kiss and said good night. Jacob got into his car and left and Relena entered the house. She went upstairs and knocked on Heero's room door. He never answered so he just opened the door and turned on the lights causing Heero to blink a couple of times.
"It's not good for you to work on your laptop in the dark."
"What's it to you?"
"Just giving you some facts that could save your eye sight."
"....."
Relena walked into the room and Heero got up from his desk and looked at her.
"You kissed him."
"You were watching us?"
"You kissed him."
"*sigh* yes I did. Why does that bother you?"
He sat back down. "No."
"Heero is something wrong? You have been acting really werid with Jacob all of a sudden."
"Nothing's wrong."
There was silence until he started talking again.
"He isn't good for you."
"What do you know is good for me and not?" she got up to his face and they started fighting.
"I think you deserve better."
"Your damn right I should. With you on my back all the time and doing nothing more then just protecting me!"
"It's my job!"
"I don't care about your damn job! What about me?!"
Heero stopped.
"What about me Heero? Do you feel anything for me?"
He sat down but never lost eye contact with him.
"Did you ever think about me?"
"Why him?"
"I would wait forever for you Heero but you never showed shit towards me!"
Heero was shocked. Did this mean that she loved him?
"I love you Heero."
He said nothing.
"What do you feel about me?"
"I feel nothing for you. Why don't you just leave me alone. I never will love you!" he was getting louder and louder each time.
Relena's eyes filled with tears and she walked out of her room and into her's. Heero put his hands through his hair and sighed.
'I didn't mean for everything to come out that way but I don't love her..right? What's wrong with me?Why do I feel like I am making a mistake?'
