Finding Out The Hard Way (4)

Hey. Wow it's been awhile since I went on with this story since the lock down thingy and I have been working on my asianavenue.com page. If anyone has on then please look at my page! My name is reject_bakorean.
Since we are on the subject, I would like to ask you all to give a round of applause to Rose who worked sooo hard for us all!

I wanna hurry up with this fic 'cause I have another idea in mind. I can't leave things in my head becuase sooner or later I would probably forget. lol. I guess I should write it down somewhere.
Relena opened her eyes and closed them shut soon after becuase of the bright light. She opened them again after but had to take some time to adjust to the new enviroment. She felt the top of her head and found a bandaid wrapped around it and she had a couple of scratches. She looked around the room and saw Noin sleeping on a chair. She pulled herself up and Noin stirred and woke up.
"Oh Relena, your finally awake. I'm glad that your okay." she said.
Relena groaned."What..what happened?"
Noin walked over to tuck Relena back into her bed and sat down on it.
"Your meeting with the Prime Minister, well, he shot and so did Heero."
"I remember hearing two shots."
"Well, the Prime Minister is dead. Heero shot him in the head."
"What about the other shot?"
"The Minister manged to get Heero slightly cut across the head."(hah! I know you people thought I got them seriously hurt didn't you? You all don't trust me or what?
)
Relena got up from bed. "Is he alright?"
Noin got up and tried to get Relena to come back into bed but Relena wouldn't move.
"Relena, honey get back into bed. The doctor doesn't think you should be walking around just yet."
"But I'm fine and I want to see Heero."
"But."
"Please Noin." Relena gave a puppy dog pout and Noin just couldn't turn away.
"Alright, just..don't give me that face."
"Relena smiled."What room is he in?"
"Down the hall and the last door on the right. Do you want me to come with you?"
"Yes Noin. You can hold my hand too." she said starcasticly.
Noin laughed. "Oh just go."
Relena went out and headed for Heero's room. Quatra just came out of Heero's room when she got there. He turned around and bumbed into her.
"Oh i'm sorry Miss I..Relena! What are you doing out of bed? Are you feeling better?"
"Yes Quatra. I think I am quite well. How's Heero?"
"He just woke up. Why don't you go in and see him?"
Relena nodded and went in. Heero was sitting on his bed looking out the window. He too had a bandaid around his head and was wearing a cast that swund around his shoulder and hooked up to his left arm.
She closed the door and Heero's head jerked her way with a emotionless expression on his face but softend just a tinsy bit when he saw who it was.
"Relena."
She was walked over to his bed and sat down.
"Are you okay? Does it hurt?"
"I think you should be worrying about yourself then me."
"Oh don't be silly Heero. I just have a few little scratches."
He looked at her body and noticed the cuts.
"I'm sorry."
Relena jerked her head up. "For what?"
He looked toward the window.
"I killed the Prime Minister. I promised not to anymore."
Relena was quiet for awhile. "Heero?"
He looked back at her.
"What happened?"
This time he looked down at his left arm. "I just remeber seeing him pull out the gun. I pushed you to the ground and I felt the bullet scratch across my head. I shot my gun when I felt it but I didn't mean to kill him."
Relena put her hand on his head. He winced just a bit.
"I really think that you should go back to your room and rest Relena."
"Heero, let me see your head."
He pushed her away.
"Heero stop it. Let me see it."
"No, you don't have to."
Relena kept coming closer to Heero and he pushed her back but accidently pushed her too hard and she was falling off the bed. He grabbed her but he too fell of the bed. Using his soldier instincts, he put his body infront of hers so she wouldn't hurt herself.
They landed hard on the floor with Relena on top of Heero. They both opened their eyes and stared at each other. Relena began to feel hot but Heero felt more hot when he realized what he was holding. Relena's hospital dress went up and Heero grabbed the only thing that he could grab when he fell, her ass.
It was just the perfect timing when Zechs came running into the room.
"Yuy I heard a loud noise and....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" he yelled.
Heero pushed Relena off of him but winced when he used his left arm.
Relena got up and helped Heero up. "Millardo, its not what you think it is."
"I'm trying very hard to not believe it but my eyes are telling me that I saw everything I needed to know.
Heero started at Zechs with his cold eyes (I think Heero is so sexy when he does that

"Nothing happend Zechs. We accidently fell of the bed."
"Doing what?!"
Relena pushed Zechs out of the room. She turned around at Heero before closing the door.
"Get some rest Heero becuase that head wound doesn't look like a bullet just grazed it." and she shut the door.
Heero just started at the door thinking about what had just happened. He looked the hand that he touched her ass with and got back into bed.
2 weeks later
Heero was working at his desk. He had to go to the doctor's later on today to finally get his cast taken off. It bothered him so much.
Relena was sent back to work 2 weeks after their incounter with each other in the hospital but he had to wait 1 more week but of course, he wouldn't let Relena go anywhere without him especially since that dinner threat. So no matter how much the doctor's told him to wait, he wouldn't. He knew something was up and he was going to find out what.
Duo walked into the room all cheerful and whistling.
"Go away Duo. I didn't even say you could come in. You didn't even knock."
"Why knock when I know you will let me in?"
"Who I would?"
"Cause you always do. You just can't get enough of me." he said as he fluttered his eyelashes in front of Heero.
"Don't you have someone else to bother? Like your wife? I don't know how she stands you."
"Cause we have something that you don't have."
"Why do you always have to start out your sentences with 'Cause'?
"Cause I want to. Anyway we have love Heero. You ain't got any of that."
"Does it look like I care if I do or don't?"
"You should, especially when you have a girl like Relena walking around."
Heero glared at him and Duo backed off.
"Speaking of Relena, do you know where she went?"
Heero's head went up.
"What do you mean 'went'?"
"Yeah I heard she went out with Hilde somewhere but I don't know where cause I want to catch up with Hilde and...hey hey! Where are you going?"
Heero threw open the door and Duo ran right after him.
Everyone stood clear of Heero's way as he came storming out of the building.
"Hey what's all the rush about?" asked Duo when he finally got Heero's attention.
"Are you sure Hilde didn't tell you where they went?"
"She just said that she and Relena were going to go out and she told me not to tell you....but....I did so....do you really have to go find them cause Hilde is really going to kill me if you do."
"Not my problem."
"Fuck you Heero. Give me a break will ya? I finally get back into my house after that argument we had that lasted a very long time and now i'm going back out."
"Well you better get used to it."
"Damn you."
Just then Hilde and Relena came walking back laughing but stopped right when they saw Duo and Heero's mad glare.
Hilde glared at Duo too and pulled on his braid and they went into the HQ building leaving Heero and Relena.
"Heero I thought you had a doctor's appointment."
"Forget the appointment. What do you think you are doing?"
"Going out with a friend. Why was I supposed to bring my dog along too?"
"Don't make get started on this again."
"Well good because I don't want to hear it either." She tried to walk past him but he grabbed her wrist.
"Let go of me Heero."
"No." He dragged her towards his car and didn't stop.
"Heero where are you taking me?" she said as she pulled her hand away from him.
"I'm going to my doctor's appointment to take this fricken cast off and your coming with me?"
"What? Why?"
"Because a dog needs a person to walk with."
"Oh very funny. Since when did you get a sense of humor."
"It wasn't supposed to be funny."
Relena just sighed and followed Heero into his car.
Meanwhile back at HQ...
Trowa, Quatra and Wufei both had there ears to Duo's office door. Hilde was yelling andscreaming at Duo. Suddenly the yelling stopped.
"Do you hear anything?" whispered Quatra.
All three of there eyes opened wide was they backed away from the door and waited.
5 seconds later, Duo came flying out of the office.
"Come on baby. I didn't mean it. It just...came out."
"You better learn to keep that damn mouth of yours to keep shut then!" Hilde yelled from behind the door.
"Come Hilde! That's my office!" Duo cried.
"Nice going genuis." said Trowa.
"Now where did I see this before?" said Quatra as he smiled.
Wufei just grunted. "Married weak male onna."
Duo glared at them. "Hey you guys stay out of this."
Just then Hilde opened the door and came walking out swinging Duo's car keys around her finger.
"No! Babe please! Don't make me walk home!"
"I'm not making you walk home. You could always ask someone for a ride. Oh and while your at it, why don't you ask that person if you could stay at there house for awhile." she said as she walked down the hall.
Duo groaned and turned around to look at the others who tried there best to walk away.
"Aww..come on guys! Please?"
"No way Duo. You got yourself in this the first place." said Trowa.
"You weak man! You let a onna boss you around, but you deserve it for being a male onna in the first place." said Wufei.
"Will you shut up!"
"Hey why don't you go ask Relena later. I'm sure you could stay at her place." said Quatra.
Duo sighed. "She's my only hope. Wait, how come I can't stay at your house Quatra?"
Quatra started to get sweaty.
"Well you see..um..I..uh..have dinner..with...uh.."
Duo started laughing. "Dorothy forced you into having dinner with her didn't she?"
Quatra nodded.
"I just hope you won't die being there. Oh and if you do, could I have your house? Since I have no place to stay?" asked Duo.
"Well Mr. Yuy. You sure recovered fast. It's safe to say that you won't be needing this anymore." said the female doctor as she took away Heero's cast.
"I never needed it in the first place." said Heero.
Relena was standing right next to him and put her hand over her fast and let out a breath.
"Okay, I want you to watch that arm and make sure you don't put to much pressure on it for awhile. Okay?" said the doctor.
She looked at Relena and smiled.
"Miss Dorlian. I think it is best if you watch your boyfriend take care of himself."
Heero and Relena both blushed and both of them said at the same time..
"Oh she/he isn't my boy/girlfriend."
The doctor smiled again. "Well just watch that arm."
Heero and Relena walked out of the hospital and into Heero's car where he started up the engine but heard something else beside the rumbling of the engine but the rumbling of Relena's stomach. She gave a sweatdrop.
"I guess i'm pretty hungry right now"
Heero looked out of his windshield. "What do feel like eating?"
"Excuse me?"
"Where do you want to go eat?"
"Are you taking me to dinner?"
"Either that or we can go home. Your choice."
"Do you remeber that cafe that you stopped me at when I was with Dorothy?"
Heero started his engine and left the parking lot and headed for the little cafe while someone watched from the top of the hospital building.
The mysterious person grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
"Under way Sir.......got it." He hung up the phone and dissapeared.
