Blissful Ignorance

I don't remember who I get to blame for recommending Hellsing (beck? War Dove?), but thank you whoever you are. I finally bought the anime this Tuesday (so of course, they're making a box set now ), and I loved it and have already begun an enthusiastic search for AxI smut. Found some good stuff too . . .

Anyway, the point of this is that while I was arranging the scanslated manga on my hard drive into some semblance of order, I discovered that I had Hellsing Volume 1 Chapter 4 through Volume 2 Chapter 6 just sitting around . . . Obviously I would love to have the whole thing, so does anyone know where I can find it? The site given on the scans (crunchycheese.net) is no longer with us.

Any help would be much appreciated.

We're evil like that ne? My friend was telling me all about Hellsing at Afest last Sept when the 1st dvd came out and Alucard just looked a bit freaky to me till later when she kept pushing me on about it and showing me japanese fanart from Solid Etc. So I knew that War Dove was just starting to download anime and told her to check into Hellsing for me. Hence I got her hooked and I haven't even watched it till she sent me copies last yr *snickers*

I'm pretty PO'ed that they are releasing the full boxset too since I already started to spend money on the individual dvds.

I got TONS of fic recs that are really good from ffnet. Give me some time tonight and I'll put them on this board. One author even has written some AxI smut, probably the ONLY AxI smut I've seen anywhere on the net, unless you got some smut recs for me *bats lashes*

Can't help ya there, I too got my parts from the same place. And what sucks is that they are soon releasing the 5th manga, has a great pic of Alucard on the front. Since this is becoming popular, SOMEONE out there needs to pick up the rights and get the damn thing released in english!!!!!!!!!! And another funny thing, the creators didn't think that Hellsing was going to take off hence why they say that some parts to the anime was rushed and the art was choppy, little did they know huh? Especially us crazy Americans

That's so sweet of you! *hugs* I've only started dipping my tippy toe in the Hellsing section of FFN so recs would be much appreciated. As for smut recs, you know how I have this silly habit of stumbling across the most wonderful things? Lookie what I found!

One night at work I spent almost the entire night searching jp Hellsing sites. I found one that is mostly AxI smut , which some may be a bit disturbing but most of it is good. Speaking of smut, did you know that Solid Etc now has a smut section? Yes please do show me that link, the title doesn't sound familiar to me and I have too many Hellsing links here to even sort through to know if I have it saved.

Speaking of Solid Etc, last yr around mid Nov, they were offering free X-mas "cards" fanart to anyone who wanted one if you signed up for it. You could have all 3 pics which were AxI, Walter, and Anderson/Maxwell. I didn't want to be a greedy American fan so I just asked for the AxI, so did War Dove. The pic was so pretty, in fact they should have a link up now with the smaller versions of what was offered somewhere on their site (probably around the gallery section or front page)

Yeah I came across that site early January but can't remember how I found it. The one girl who I mentioned about AxI smut fic has done the fic for that contest. Also on that site, there is a fanart/doujin section. Well it eventually turns into AxI making out heavily but they don't have the links posted since you are to email them about it. If you know what part I'm talking about for that art, let me know and I'll send you the smut links. Its not many and they REALLY need to finish it too!

As far as I know but even those aren't the fully scanned manga, seems like they are only bits and pieces unless there is alot of text pages in those books and the only thing they decided to translate were the pic pages *shrugs*. I'll have to see if I can't find an actual link to the 5th cover since the person only posted the pic in their journal and not a link.

Duh! Yeah I know who you are talking about now, it took awhile to figure it out since her name for lj is also Croaky. I love her art no matter if its Hellsing or other creative characters she made.

Just in case you all don't know.... Dark Horse Comics will be releasing the Hellsing manga..
