Hey Yuy-san, do you know what "Davy Jones' Locker" means? I just re-watched Pirates of the Carribean, and I've been wondering that for quite sometime now...
And advanced Merry Christmas to all! I say this now cause my compy's unpredictable, it may or may not connect on Christmas!

Uh huh. And...that's a lot of questions...and a lot of pissed off don't-talk-to-me-anymore answers. I read them anyway because I felt almost obligated. Maybe that's too strong of a word...
I needed to laugh.
There we go. That's cool. Have we omited any kind of actual question-asking? I liked my sister's most recent. *snicker* So...
Heero, who's your fav. comedian?
I like Eddie Izzard, Bill Cosby, and Ellen DeGeneres.
They some funny folk.
And...rack, huh? I wasn't aware people still called them "racks." I wasn't aware people who don't have any racks are told they have racks. In my opinion, racks are annoying, funky, and just...I dunno. Never was a big fan.
I suppose that's why I'm not a lesbian.

Bob is my avatar. wicked made it for me. She is basically to-the-limit. Except she's bereft. And that is so sad.
Drop it. Like it is hot.

Sorry for not answering your first question bookworm, but the worst presents ever are sweaters and Christmas Caroling CD's.
And it'd had to ask about Davey Jones Locker and other old terms, due to the fact that their origans are hard to trace back. The most common belief is that David Jones served as a first-mate, and sometimes the captain of the Roebuck, commanded by Captain Cobb, in the early 1630's. The Roebuck, and another vessel went on a privateering cruise, and David Jones is known to have been very determend on destroying or sinking any ship which was not good enough to bring back as a prize. This may be where the term comes from. But like I said, it's hard to tell.
And from what I've heard, a lot of people imagine the life of a pirate as a great life. Well, for reasons I won't openly say, it was very lonley and only mn were on the ship, and it wasn't pleasent. It wasn't pleasent, because small boys would be kidnapped and taken advantage of. When the child grows up as a pirate, he continues the tradition. So, I would NOT want to be a pirate. However, I am quite fond of piracy. Especially the internet kind.
