Yes, peanuts are a fruit. So are tomatoes. Due to the way they grow, they are classified as fruits.

You know, I am allergic to all fruit. I don't think that I've ever been allergic to peanuts...but that's not saying much. I don't like them. ^__^ How I learned what or wasn't a fruit (besides the fact my throat swells up and won't let me breathe) is that seeds are grown on the inside of the...plant or...thing...or...whatever. Anywho...Umm...sorry I botherd ya'll.
