I haven't finished reading all the pages yet... But I can suggest one beach, La Jolla Shores, down here in SoCal. ^_^;; It's actually the most popular beach for everyone in my college. Closest big city is San Diego. ^_^ It's not -terribly- crowded, but fairly popular, and I could also give you a pretty good description of what it looks like. It's actually located IN La Jolla (Which is basically San Diego).

There's also a less popular beach nearby called Blacks Beach, which you have to climb down the side of a cliff to get to (thus it never being very crowded), but it's very pretty and somewhat secluded. It's also a nudist beach. (...Although you don't find many nudists down there.)

Or, ya know, Venice Beach and LA works too. ^_^ I just... would never ever want to live in LA. @.@ San Diego is more my style. ^_^

...Well... the traffic is bad in both places, but I personally think LA is much worse. Drivers here seem to be a tad nicer. ^_^ And the freeways aren't so suicidal.
