Oh man...talking about the RK VA's, I just had to say this: In the Japanese version, Saitou's voice......mmmmmmm....it could melt butter. Dang!!! It is soooooo yummy...but then again, I think anything having to do with Saitou is yummy. Unlike the English version (which I still think is pretty good), it can sound really gentle when he's acting all nice, but it still seems to fit him, so it's like **drrroooooooooooool**. It's just so hard to describe, but I distinctly remember the scene when police Saitou first enters the dojo to wait for Kenshin and he's talking to Kaoru and I seriously almost hyperventilated. His voice was sooo scruptious. Mm mm good. Anways, I really get too too giddy when I'm watching Kenshin and Saitou comes on (as Waking Dreamer can tell you 
). But anyway enough of my rambling, I guess I don't mind the English VA's because that's the first version I saw. But when I finally got to see some of the Japanese ep's, I must admit the voices absolutely rock.

Oh my--- can you feel the giddiness permeating through Sphinx's answer? She would also like to clarify that Saitou's VA in the Japanese has the ability to sound all throaty--when he's being Saitou and when he's really nice. Especially, when he is being nice--you really can't tell in the English version, but in the Japanese version-- as Sphinx drools "it can melt butter." Oh my-- but I'm sure she says the same about me when I get on my Hiko kick. :razz:

Yeah, I thought it was amusing to hear Spike in the middle of RK. My brother was watching it when I walked by and I did a double-take. I usually only watch it in Japanese, that's why it was so weird for me.
