Another necessary double post...because it's that time again! Although late the newest IY manga chapter has been recieved. So-on with the show!
Chapter 488: "The Answer"
Recap: We left Sango facing the Hiraikotu's inner demons (literally) and the houshi poisoning himself with Yakurou's poison-medicine stuff.
Sango's caught. Tied up in the masses of youkai bodies that were her boomerang bone. They ask her to swear to never betray them again, or it will mean her end. She claims she can't do that. They inquire that the monk means so much to her, and she claims that's right.
Switch to a gulping monk. Obviously what he's doing is painful, and he collapses-catching Kagome's attention and questions. Inuyasha, (blonde as he is) asks why he fell over. Kagome starts to come nearer to see what happened and Yakurou says it'd be better if she didn't come near yet, and reaches all the way out and flips her skirt up...Which earns him a death glare and quite a few nasty bumps on his bald head via Inuyasha.
Yakurou sends Inuyasha off to keep Kagome at bay, telling him to leave the houshi to him. Inuyasha goes to her and promptly lies when she asks about Miroku, as per the houshi's wish, saying that it's just the sake that made him fall. She doesn't look like she believes him. Yakurou meanwhile asks the monk if he regrets doing this-and he reflects on the fact that he'll be able to fight at Sango's side again.
Back in the jar; The youkai tell Sango that the shouki is eating the houshi from the inside and soon he will be gone. Sango relates that he's risked his life many times for her, and they retort that her throwing her life away for him is ridiculous. She comes back strong that she has no intention of throwing her life away. She intends to live with him, he gives her strength to do so, and therefore asks again if Hiraikotsu will aid them.
With that the youkai bodies start to disolve away, and the poison becomes clear around her. They are becoming bones again. Outside the jar the clearing poison is also noticed by the clover miko and her crimson hanyou-and remarked on as well. Back to the jar, the bones of the Hiraikotsu make the claim that they do not understand the feelings between two people, but since they now know of the monk's resolve they will join her in battle again. Sango thanks it.
BACK outside, the houshi rises. Yakurou informs him that the poisons and medicines are linked, and asks how he's feeling. Miroku responds better, even if that sounds like a lie, and their attentions turn to the jar in which Sango has crawled from with her complete Hiraikotsu.
Inuyasha gives the monk a forlorn look and Yakurou tells him again: this doesn't mean the monk is healed-it simply means he can't feel the pain any more. Inuyasha responds with an "I know, but I ought to thank you anyway."
MEANTIME in another galaxy far, far away....or perhaps only a few ri...
Sesshoumaru is walking his solemn path with Jaken, Aun and Rin behind him once again. Jaken reflects on the tenseiga and the fact that it's supposed circular attack the Meidou Zangetsu Ha is not circular yet...only wider. He also goes as far as to mention that Sesshoumaru's heart hasn't become any lighter-more like charged up..."It's scary."
But what's REALLY scary is the next frame...A very strange looking child wearing what looks like a reproduction of Hakudoushi's suiken no hakama appears before the small group. The child has large black holes for eyes...and asks Sesshoumaru if he wishes to know the secret Tenseiga is lacking.
Final frame has the Sesshi-gumi looking surprised and in Sesshi's case-ever stoic.
SOoo We have a fixed Hiraikotsu, a monk with a *VERY* high pain thresh hold and a freaky child with a supposed link to Tenseiga's missing link! Is this getting any closer to the end? She's got 12 chapters before 500...Anyway, tune in next week to find out more about the freaky child and the healing blade!

Chapter 489: "A Completed Meidou"
Back in black with the boy and his freak ass eyes: Sesshoumaru questions what he said, and the freak boy asks him if it bothers him that he doesn't have the full circle Meidou, if he wishes to know follow. Jaken opens his gob and gets shot down by Sessh.
On another page-plain of existance-whatever, Kagome senses Kohaku''s solitary shard. The ONLY one the tama lacks-and Scruffy smells Sesshoumaru. They figure that the pair are traveling together and Shippou exclaims that that's two birds with one stone for Sango-Hiraikotsu is fixed and Kohaku is in the area. Sango doesn't know if she agrees because Hiraikotsu may not be the same. Though she doesn't voice her concerns.
Meanwhile, back on the playing field. Jaken pipes up asking Sesshoumaru if this could be a trap. Sessh claims if it is a trap then he'll just slice through it. Kohaku notices then that the boy has vanished.
No sooner said then an attack hounds on the party from above causing everyone to jump. Sessh true to his word-fires his meidou-but blows through the mountain below his target, and his target inquires why.
The dust clears and a youkai with a half mask on his face (think phantom of the opera, but with REALLY messy mop hair) stands there and says aloud that since the enemy has gotten this far-he supposes he would like to know Tenseiga's secret.
Kohaku asks the obvious: "Who are you?" And Sessh cuts him off saying who cares? what about Tenseiga? Mask guy claims he's fought the blade in the past, but when he fought with the Inutaishou it looked different. (Sessh is all "Fought with father?!" and I can't help but think..."DUH! Man, who else had the blade before you? And you KNOW you've never seen this phantom wannabe before!" He can be so blonde sometimes...anyway!) Hearing this, Sessh decides a different tactic is in order-since Tenseiga was in a different form, and goes after Mask-i with his claws.
Mask-i hops away and scoffs at his lack of using the blade to find out it's secrets-and then calls out: "DON'T TAKE SHINSHIKI LIGHTLY!" (So, the doufus does have a name! Wonder of wonders...and here I thought I'd have to call him Mask-i through out.) and expells a meidou of his own at Sessh.
Pretty-Boy dodges it of course-and turns to watch as it rips a hole to the nether world and encompasses half a cliff in a complete meidou circle...and OMG...Sesshi looks REALLY surprised! So he CAN have other emotions really show! Amazing.
Shinshinki claims that in the beginning, the Meidou Zangetsu Ha was *his* technique, and further informs Sessh that his father stole it from him...and also stole half his head-proven as he removes the mask and is in fact-missing most of his head...Last frame shows Sessh back to his ever stoic look with the infamous "..." in response.
So there was a reason for the mask after all...But-where the hell did the rest of his brain go then? Anyway-to answer the earlier question "are we finally getting somewhere?!" Not yet...Apparently Takahashi has to story arch everything...SO tune in next time as we hopefully discover Sessh has learned the FULL Meidou-reunite Sango with her ottouto...and all traipse off to bump off Naraku!...This is hopefully now. lol

Chapter 490: "Tenseiga's Secret"
Short and the stick of it all: Shinshinki (aka Mask-i) claims Sesshoumaru could never beat him with an incomplete Meidou Zangetsu Ha. Sesshi asks what he means, but he says "it won't matter, you'll be dead soon!" Sesshi says he has no use for him then and throws his Meidou Zangetsu Ha out, and Shinshinki proves he can't beat him by sending his out and having it absorb Sesshi's right up.
Inu-tachi runs up upon Fluff's huge Meidou Zangetsu Ha, and Scruff recognizes it-claiming it's bigger then when he last saw it. Shinshinki says that Fluff's Meidou Zangetsu Ha is just large, it'll never be a compelete circle-and absorbs it again with his. Kohaku comments the obvious, and Sessh relizes Inu's there, and Sango and Kohaku partake in the infamous "Name Game." Myouga pops up-recognizes Shinshinki and explains to the Inu-gumi about who he is.
Shinshinki sends a Meidou Zangetsu Ha toward the Inu-gumi, Scuff leaps away with Kagome in arm-and comes back with a Kaze no Kizu yelling "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" Shinshinki recognizes the Tetsusaiga now too, and reminices that Inutaishou had two sons...and how funny it is that the younger one was given the Tetsusaiga.
Jaken mutters about Sessh trying to steal the Tetsusaiga many times, but eventually giving up and using Tenseiga...Rin comments he ought to be smacked. Sessh throws another Meidou Zangetsu Ha again, claiming all this prattle is useless-and Shinshinki absorbs it again with his. This time the Inu-gumi mention the obvious-and Myouga goes on to explain about the stolen Meidou Zangetsu Ha.
Shinshinki asks if Sesshoumaru knows how the Tenseiga was made-both brothers give him funny look and he goes on to explain that- he had said that when he fought Tenseiga it wasn't in this form. No, in fact when he fought it-it was Tetsusaiga. Inuyasha's surprised the guy fought Tetsusaiga and lost-the last frame is Sessh looking angrily surprised at the information that Tenseiga was part of the Tetsusaiga...And we leave off for next week.
No where closer to a full Meidou Zangetsu Ha, or defeating Naraku. She's not exactly going by leaps and bounds here...Oh well, nonetheless we will see what her predicted *SHOCK!* is next week. So stay tuned!

Third double post-but again I've little choice in the matter. :d Two days late-but I got it late and my comp's still in the repair shop. But! We continue on with the story nonetheless!
Chapter 491: "Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga"
Whole first page is just reiterates what we learned in the previous chapter...Just see above ^ for that.
Shinshinki on the next page starts to say that Tenseiga is merely a drop off of Tetsusaiga-but is cut off by Sesshi screaming: "STFU!!!" (ok-so he yells "SILENCE!" but stfu is funnier.) He fires his incomplete Meidou again only to have it eaten by Shinshinki's again...To which Kohaku comments on.
Sesshi jumps another of Shinshinki's Meidou attacks-it leaves another whopper hole in the cliff-side. Facing off with Mask-i (granted a couple yards off...>> But shh!) Mask-i repeats that the Meidou was stolen, and ponders on if it was too much for Inutaishou.
Kagome-somehow-is confused, and askss for explaination from Myouga. He explains that the Meidou Zangetsu Ha is a powerful dangerous attack that opens up a rip to one of the Hells to send your enemy straight to it. Shinshinki claims that Inutaishou cast off Tenseiga b/c he couldn't control the Meidou Zangetsu Ha. (BS I think-but-anyway.) Inuyasha-Repeats what Mask-i said with a "ka" (what else would he do? ::rolls eyes:: ) and Sesshi thinks to himself: 'So, Tenseiga was an unwanted piece?!" Looking MAJORLY POed if I do say so myself...
Mask-i digs it in deeper by saying Tetsusaiga was given to the other brother-with a human stench about him. Sesshi muddles over the fact that the Tetsusaiga's barrier rejected him, and he got stuck with Tenseiga-a healing sword-that some how got the Meidou Zangetsu Ha which is kinda useless-and Shinshinki snarks that Inutaishou must have totally dissed him.
Shinshinki then asks if he understands now that Tenseiga will never perform a complete Meidou because it's merely a cast off-and shoots another meidou at Sessh-who-just stands there and has half the world scream at him to move his furry, white ass.
Inuyasha moves to protect him with a Kaze no Kizu-and Shinshinki asks if he intends to help Sesshi. He claims after he beats Sessh he'll beat him. Inuyasha stupidly yells out "Shut up-just watch!" And Sesshi reigns down on him to give him a sock in the jaw-telling him to Back the fuck off, he don wan no help!
Miroku and Kagome remark that that would be awfully cruel for the Inutaishou to do with his eldest son and an heirloom...There must be some better reason he got it...And Myouga thinks Inutaishou must have had a plan.
Sessh is now *royally* pissed off...and forgetting Tenseiga just leaps for Shinshinki with his claws. Sango is surprised he's going after him with no weapon, Shippou exclaims that Shinshinki's meidou's are small-but powerful, Miroku just says if he gets too close he's a goner. Mask-i shoots More then one Meidou Zangetsu Ha at him, surprising everyone that he can do such a thing! (Why is it surprising? That's what I don't get...) Sessh dodges them all-but Shinshinki prepares another onslaught right in Sesshi's face-Inuyasha cries out "STOP! [if you get hit you're gone!]" Who knows why he's bothering-buut! the last frame is Sessh bounding toward the poised Mask-i.
Sooo-yea....still no where good yet...This seems to be more of a repeat what you heard in the last chapter, chapter-and a Sesshi get's royally angry chapter...We'll see if it pans out next week!
Chapter 491: "Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga"
Whole first page is just reiterates what we learned in the previous chapter...Just see above ^ for that.
Shinshinki on the next page starts to say that Tenseiga is merely a drop off of Tetsusaiga-but is cut off by Sesshi screaming: "STFU!!!" (ok-so he yells "SILENCE!" but stfu is funnier.) He fires his incomplete Meidou again only to have it eaten by Shinshinki's again...To which Kohaku comments on.
Sesshi jumps another of Shinshinki's Meidou attacks-it leaves another whopper hole in the cliff-side. Facing off with Mask-i (granted a couple yards off...>> But shh!) Mask-i repeats that the Meidou was stolen, and ponders on if it was too much for Inutaishou.
Kagome-somehow-is confused, and askss for explaination from Myouga. He explains that the Meidou Zangetsu Ha is a powerful dangerous attack that opens up a rip to one of the Hells to send your enemy straight to it. Shinshinki claims that Inutaishou cast off Tenseiga b/c he couldn't control the Meidou Zangetsu Ha. (BS I think-but-anyway.) Inuyasha-Repeats what Mask-i said with a "ka" (what else would he do? ::rolls eyes:: ) and Sesshi thinks to himself: 'So, Tenseiga was an unwanted piece?!" Looking MAJORLY POed if I do say so myself...
Mask-i digs it in deeper by saying Tetsusaiga was given to the other brother-with a human stench about him. Sesshi muddles over the fact that the Tetsusaiga's barrier rejected him, and he got stuck with Tenseiga-a healing sword-that some how got the Meidou Zangetsu Ha which is kinda useless-and Shinshinki snarks that Inutaishou must have totally dissed him.
Shinshinki then asks if he understands now that Tenseiga will never perform a complete Meidou because it's merely a cast off-and shoots another meidou at Sessh-who-just stands there and has half the world scream at him to move his furry, white ass.
Inuyasha moves to protect him with a Kaze no Kizu-and Shinshinki asks if he intends to help Sesshi. He claims after he beats Sessh he'll beat him. Inuyasha stupidly yells out "Shut up-just watch!" And Sesshi reigns down on him to give him a sock in the jaw-telling him to Back the fuck off, he don wan no help!
Miroku and Kagome remark that that would be awfully cruel for the Inutaishou to do with his eldest son and an heirloom...There must be some better reason he got it...And Myouga thinks Inutaishou must have had a plan.
Sessh is now *royally* pissed off...and forgetting Tenseiga just leaps for Shinshinki with his claws. Sango is surprised he's going after him with no weapon, Shippou exclaims that Shinshinki's meidou's are small-but powerful, Miroku just says if he gets too close he's a goner. Mask-i shoots More then one Meidou Zangetsu Ha at him, surprising everyone that he can do such a thing! (Why is it surprising? That's what I don't get...) Sessh dodges them all-but Shinshinki prepares another onslaught right in Sesshi's face-Inuyasha cries out "STOP! [if you get hit you're gone!]" Who knows why he's bothering-buut! the last frame is Sessh bounding toward the poised Mask-i.
Sooo-yea....still no where good yet...This seems to be more of a repeat what you heard in the last chapter, chapter-and a Sesshi get's royally angry chapter...We'll see if it pans out next week!

Chapter 492: "Father's True Intent"
Sesshoumaru questions why Inutaishou would bother to go so far as to cast Tenseiga aside just to diss him. Shinshinki thinks he's charging him out of desperation-with no weapon. He claims he's amatuer and sends more Meidou's out. Kagome yells "Watch out!" as is her way...no matter who it is.
Jaken yells out-and a Meidou whacks above Aaun's head as the creature moves. Sessh slices at Shinshinki again---aaand misses. Shinshinki reproaches him and sends out yet more Meidou! Inuyasha watches his big brother dodge-and Myouga mentions that this will all end badly since Sessh doesn't know Inutaishou's true intent and lements there's no way to tell him. Miroku "kindly" offers an "escort" and sends the flea on a one-way ticket offuda ride to Inuyasha's shoulder.
Myouga tries to regale Sesshoumaru now (from a closer distance) about the Inu no Taishou's true intent-claiming he got it because of who he is. But Sesshi shoots down his attempt by reminding him that he "cast" off Tenseiga from the Tetsusaiga. Wouldn't it have worked better to just give the Tetsusaiga to him then with the Meidou already infused?
Inuyasha seems a little pissed that Myouga's comments turned out to be a degrading statment as well...Wow...brotherly affection...O-O Anyway-Sessh ignores it all and goes leaping off for Shinshinki again; avoiding all Meidou attacks till he hit's mask-i square in the mask! And-rips it off. All while Mask-i laughs at his missing arm, which Sessh points out (to us anyway) That he's never regretted the loss of the arm-that in fact it's made him stronger in a way. He then relates to Mask-i that there's no point in listening to what he has to say about the Tenseiga, it'll all just be garbage anyway.
NOW--Sango, Miroku and Kags realize that Shinshinki has only half a head-and Sango wonders the same thing I did...How's the freak still alive?
Inuyasha decides to rush in and play catch this time, and even against Sesshi's warnings he lets the Kongosouha rip-which Shinshinki promptly releases yet MORE Meidou-and Engulfs all of Scruffy's little diamond spears! Big surprise huh? Sango states the obvious while Kagome starts up with the perpetual "Name-Game" again-and Tenseiga pulsates at Sesshi's side...
Next chapter-Will Sesshi use it?!
Okay, so, another chapter gone...and 8 more before 500 and still NO where towards the end...She'll never make it...::sigh:: So the train rides on...See you next week!
