Favorite character? Just curious...

Gotta love Kenshin. He's so sweet, lethal, funny, and can do the laundry - or slaughter masses of soldiers during the revolution. And Sanosuke is quite nice to look at too. ;)

Yeah! I have the English version DVDs, so I just watch them with English subtitles. I can't STAND Saitou's English voice. Actually, I can't stand anyone's English voice. Oh well. :D

Don't say that, I like Saitoh's. And Richard Hayworth (Kenshin) is my lover. :P

I know. After I heard the English voices I can't stand to hear the English ones. Like, when I went over to a friend's house, we we're gonna watch my Kenshin DVD, but we coldn't figure out hoe to get it in Japanese. So, when she played it in English, and I heard it, I started to roll around on the floor crying, "Not teh English version! Make it stop! Make it stop!!"

^^* I know, I'm majorly obsessed with the show. There are some parts of that DVD I've never heard in English!! :D

Gundam Girl, I don't know. Something about their voices just bothers me. To each his own. *_* Morning Dew Star, I feel exactly the same way. Sorry Gundam Girl, I just don't like the English voices.

Somethings that did get under my skin were Wendee Lee and "Spike" (sorry, forgot his name). I like Wendee Lee; she did great with Faye, Charlotte (Vampire Hunter D), Yui (Fushigi Yugi), and countless others. But she was not a Yumi to me. THEN AGAIN, I didn't get to see her death episode, and I bet Lee did well. And (Spike) was not my Shishio. Ever since Bebop, he has been my cool bad boy voice. He did the villain in the "Ah! My Goddess" movie, he did that gas station commercial (ya know -- "Hungry? Thirsty? Oh, thank Heaven") and Roger Smith in "Big O." But Shishio? Nuh-uh. Go away, (Spike). I love you to death -- you aren't Shishio.

I understand; whenever I hear Shishio's vocie I think, "Hey, look, it's Spike!" and the same with Yumi. But I've never seen any eps. in Japanese to hear Shishio or Yumi's voice. So that's the best I've heard so far.

Hearing Spike's voice made me smile. But I too watch them in Japanese. I think Kenshin is funnier in Japaneese too.
Well I can fight like the devil
Or do what I'm told
But one of these days
I've got to hit the road
On my way home
I'm coming home
That's where I'm going

Yes, I love Kenshin's Japanese voice. I nearly fainted when I first heard it. I just like it better in Japanese; to much is taken awa when its in English. For exaple, Sanosuke's nickname for Kaoru- "Jou-chan", Kenshin's "oro" are left out too. How could they leave out the oro?!
