Why do people have allergies? And why do they make them have headaches and or "stuffy" heads/smellers(aka nose)?

When you have allergies to something, it causes histamine to produce in your body, which goes hand in hand with your membranes swelling. Which is why your nose/cheeks/and even lips can swell up. And the drainage is your body trying to flush out the foreign allergenics. The headache is due to pressure build up.

I'm only allergic to one thing. It's not really anything that can compromise my safety, so I have no reason to refrain from divulging this.

Crest toothpaste. it makes my mouth break out in sores. True story.

I'm allergic to bee stings, pinicilllin, amoxicillin(aka. peto bismol or any other medicine that has it), lysol the floor, etc. cleaner. But atleast I don't have to live in a plastic bubble

That has to be the saddest true story I've ever heard. Interesting though, you get brownie points for that.
