Ok, people, I don't know if you've heard about this, but I don't know what to think.
Yesterday I received a mail which had been forwarded MANY times that said that Bill Gates was making an email test and would give you money if you forwarded the same message to others.
For every person you forwarded to, you got 245$, for every person you forwarded it to who forwarded again you got an additionnal 243$ and so on.
But heck, I don't know what to think of it. I forwarded it to my brother, who insisted, but what now? He sent it to many friends...
We both still live under our parents' roof, and I don't think my brother told our mom to be expecting a weird call in two weeks for the check.
And anyway, is it true???????

Well, I think that probably someone's making joke. I had similiar e-mail from someone, which said that if I pass it forward, I'll earn some money for boy who needs operation etc. I passed it, but I don't think it was true :-?
Besides Crazy, Bush would be bankrupt if it was true.

It's not Bush, it's Bill Gates. He wanted to ensure that Internet wutever company stayed the most used internet program, and so he was running an email test, to see how far a mail could go.
I didn't really get it... What I'm worried about is 'WILL THEY CALL ME IN TWO WEEKS OR IS IT JUST A FLUKE?'
Even though this is about getting money, I'm hoping it's a fluke.

There is only two logical reasons for someone to want a mass forwarding of emails like that.
1)They get a kick out of seeing how far it will go (read: no money involved)
2)They are building a spam email list (read, well I think you know)
Forwarding email will not make you money, make a rainbow appear, solve the worlds problems, or stop a bill from becoming law. Did I miss anything?

Alright, so you think it was just crap (forgive my language)?
I'm hoping for that... It looked pretty real to me though.

Well think about it, there are people out there who make their living off of having as large a list of real email addresses as possible. It's like a magic, it just doesn't work unless it looks real.
The second thing working against it, you think this wouldn't make the news if it was real?
In fact I just plugged this into google and came up with this:

Notice the very first story.

Mr. Heero I have two questions:
1. Remember when you gave me link to AVG anti-virus program? I'm using it on regular basis, but today a problem appeared: why should I do when viruses attacked system files that I cannot remove? (and program says that there are still 2 viruses on the drive)
2. Which Wing version do you prefer when entering Earth's atmosphere? I mean which wings were more useful: Wing Zero's or Wing Zero's Custom? Was there big difference while using those types of wings?
