I'm saying that because if you soften up to him, then it'll blow your resolve and eventually your self confidence. If you soften up to him, who knows what you're gonna accept next. You broke up, and that's that. If he can't deal with it, then there's nothing to do. It's his problem.

Especially considering that you wrote your message in a kind of fearing tone. If you are scared of seeing him again, then don't.

And if he harasses you against your will (I don't think he can harass you if your willing...), then you can call for help. He doesn't have the right to follow you everywhere you go in hopes of getting on your good side and trying to force you into a new relationship. (I doubt he'D go that far, however. They usually get a clue.)

If i'm saying all this, it's because I know that a break-up hurts, and that it's difficult to get over it, but it's necessary if you want to move on.
