Okay, thanks for the link and I went to the site and I talked to some other very rabid fans and they all confirm that there has been no official announcement or press release from Sunrise or YTV, just the rumors and the post on the message board.

Dammit! I'm still in denial and I refuse to believe it's over until I get REAL official word and not just a post from a moderator on a message board.

I want to see the end too, and I do thinks our collective legs are being pulled to some extent. But, I don't distrust those rumors either.

Inuyasha has run in Japan for how many years now? And against how much competition? The only thing even remotely like that kind of programming in the U.S. is the Simpsons. There have been only a few opposing contenders and even Matt Goerning's own self-generated ones have failed. Ergo: we have no comparison.

This could all be some long-range savvy marketing, it could be the heartlessness of the networks. I suspect it is both.

To end the anime now, leaving fans still interested, opens up a world of omake theater even though the actual manga has a real ending. Takahashi does wind her stuff up although not as definitively as Chobits. (Personally, I thought the ending of Chobits was offensive and revealed that story for what it was; a red herring.)

Of course, we could all row across the world in a dingy and force the animators in Japan to give us the final chapters---Best graphics and animation, best work from the actors and free copies to all. :evil: Or else!

Weeeee ... just read the new Chapter for the Manga of Inuyasha at ear-tweak...weeeeeee i found it heartwarming and Kagura's found a spot in my heart.. she needs a hug lol

I know Inuyasha is coming to and end and it's probably the first series.I don't know, I'm just looking for to whatever else is out there, or whatever else the producers or directers, whatever, are gonna come up with next! Either a second season, or a new type of show. I'm just looking forward ...

By mushy,.... I don't know, it just seem interesting, see I use non existant words to um... I don't know. I'm was mindless, and I still am, and I just have a feeling Movie 4 might get all mushy, and lovely dovely, cause Its the end for Inuyasha and what not.
