[Gundam Girl]

Rosaan pressed a hand to her heart. "Saria!" she scolded.

Duo snickered. "That was her mother talking."

Sage turned. Suddenly, the beautiful Zusa girl was no longer looking like the ice queen she had been to Aiden. There was a genuine concerned look in her eyes, and she looked anxious, waiting for someone to tell her what she could do to assist.

"This is dangerous," Derekai cut in swiftly, taking a step toward his daughter.

"He's right," Sage quickly agreed. "I don't want you to be put in a position where you could be hurt. No one really knows anything about this Khushrenada guy and--"

"Oh, listen to the both of you!" Saria interrupted, at once immensely irritated. "In a time like this, reason doesn't matter. Father, you fought a war! Was it *reasonable* to go and do that when you intended to live to marry Mother? And you--" She swiveled to Sage, who immediately felt a wave of self-awareness at the harsh look in her violet-and-brown eyes. But then the harshness faded to something akin to helplessness...but stronger. So much stronger. "I just want to help you."

"Help my brother, you mean," he bit out before he thought about it. Maeko sent him a stern look.

"Help both of you," she corrected him, not at all effected.

"Aiden is--"

"Gone," she supplied. "And you miss him. And we *will* bring him back."

Sage stared at Saria for over a minute. With a small sigh, his head hung. "Thank you."

She smiled, and his head clouded for a moment. "We're the descendents of Gundam pilots. It's my purpose." With that, Saria took Sage's hand to give him a boost of strength and led him inside.

For a moment, Sage forgot all about Aiden.

" Sage: It's Aiden not me. I'm standing right here."

Aiden awoke in his room, but wait wasn't his bed soft and fluffy. This was hard like a rock. He wasn't in his room. there was a man next to him but he wasn't happy about something.

" So you are a third generation gundam pilot. Interesting. I would have though they would have been more better trained than this."

" And you are the man from mine and Sages dream aren't you. The loser whose trying to follow in your fathers footsteps. So you won't mind if I kill you would you."

Kenji, sage and the others sat outside searching for clues.

" It's like finding a needle in a haystack. Isn't there any way to track him." Saria commented from behind.

" Yes, there is a way. The only way our parents can tell us apart. Mom, Dad, I need the tracer. His ID Bracelet maybe I can track that...

Duo frowned. "You haven't gotten anywhere yet, Sage?"

Sage's brow was contorted, lines etched on his normally-happy face. "He's not in the colonies... And he's not on Earth... Dammit!"

"Watch your mouth, son," warned Hilde.

"Damn," agreed Duo.

"Hang on a sec." Cameron cut in. "Grandpa gave me the coordinates to Mars' residence list, so maybe--"

"Only eight thousand people live on Mars," Rosaan said calmly. "What are the odds..."

"Slim," Cameron interrupted, taking the tracking device from Sage and beginning to punch in codes. "But they are odds." With that said, he directed his full attention to the coordinates he was inserting.

Gallian walked to his daughter, who stood in the corner of the room, away from the crowd of worried people. "Saria?" When she didn't answer, his voice grew firmer. "Saria, look at me."

Saria shook her black hair over her shoulder and gazed at him despairingly. "I don't know..."

"Are you all right?"

Tears appeared in the corners of her violet eyes. "I don't know, Daddy. I promised them... I promised Sage we'd find Aiden... And Dad, we're not having any luck."

"You decided to make that promise," he reminded her. He'd never been the best at the art of comfort.

"I know I did. And you still don't want me to put myself in danger."

"I can't say I approve."

"Daddy..." She quickly wiped her eyes. "I'm not you, Daddy. And I don't know what I can do when it comes to combat, yet. But Dad, being protective is not going to help me find answers."

Gallian the soldier faded and Derekai the father replaced him. "I don't want you to be hurt, Saria."

The smile that was so much like her mother's came to her face. "I won't be. I love you, Daddy. But Aiden..." she started, her voice growing worried again. "He was being so nice to me... And then the plane came, and he's..."

"On Mars! I found him, he's in the capital of Mars, Jarsus!" exclaimed Cameron, whose father was immediately at his side.

"In Jarsus?" asked Ivan.

"Yeah, Dad... And his heart rate's fast enough for him to be..." Cameron frowned. "...Fighting."

Aiden was fighting, he couldn't see what but he knew he was doing it. His memory was getting worse and worse. He knew his name but that's all. Julian had him fighting ever since he woke up. His body was practically dead on it's feet. (Like Mine He told him that he had great potential for being a new type of fighter.

" Wonderful, do you think your brother would progress like you. Or would some of the other Gundam Children do as well?" He dragged Aiden out to his prison room.

As Aiden fell asleep, he thought he saw an angel. What he was seeing was the face of Saria in his dreams.

" If we leave bfor Mars now we could get there in about three or four days. We'll need some mobile suits though." Cameron said.

" Dad, Grandpa." Sage said with that all telling look. " I need to use my gundam. Can I."

" how can we resist that look. Just like your father and his father. You know there's a good story to how your father and I..."

You know I thought about this story while at work one time, I was going to kill off Aiden but not gonna now.
