Who is a better lover for inuyasha? kagome or kikkyo

Wow you guys write some great stuff. But on my part...It's really sad when I think the evil chick is cool. I guess it's the "I wish i could kick ass" side coming out of me...Then again...when worse comes to worse, Kagome can kick some mean demon booty...and show Kikyo that she too has a dangerous and daring side...And when ISN'T it cute to see kagome and Inuyasha's intimate moments? It's so friggin adorable and I'm just like....HURRY UP AND HOOK UP FOR CRYIN" OUTLOUD...Inuyasha still has an emotional barrier that he needs to tear down with kagome...and he needs to work through his Kikyo complex...and cartoon network needs to release new episodes...and i need coffee...and a blanket...After you see the ring..........You die...

Kagome is much better for Inu cause Kikkyo is dead! Although they might have the same soul, they were raised in two completely different eras and have different mind frames. Kagome actually cares for Inu, not to mention they look much cuter together.

Faye Faye is so correct...whenever I see an intimate moment between Inu yasha and Kagome I get all gitty and stuff. Then i see kikyo with inu yasha and I feel either depressed or irritated....yet another reason why i'm for kagome! The sappy, romantic side of me always roots for the cute arguing typed couples, haha...

I don't think eather is a verry good choice.... I mean Kikkyo's a pot and kagome's a compleate air head.... but if I had to pick I pick Kagome. Becuase I do not like the pot....

I saw the Ring 2 weeks ago, and do I look dead? *Looks in mirror* Okay becuase of lack of sleep, too much food, not enought fresh air, and other stuff I do look half dead.... but I don't think I'm dead.... At least I hope not.

I have to disagree about Kagome being a complete airhead (can't argue with Kikyou being a pot...since she is clay... :-? ). I also wonder if you've seen the sub or have only been exposed to valley girl Kagome in the dub (hate to call her that really b/c I'm sure not all valley girls fit the stereotype but I cannot think of a better term that fits). There's quite a bit of difference between the two in my opinion.

Kagome is only fifteen, a modern fifteen at that, and people today have a far longer childhood than people did centuries ago. She acts like a normal fifteen year old. And, yes, that does occasionally involve some stupidity, but we've all been there or will be there soon. So take your average, awkward and sometimes sulky teenage girl and throw her into a world like nothing she has ever known complete with monsters that she believes shouldn't exist wanting to kill and/or rape her. Add in that she is supposed to be reincarnation of a very famous and powerful person in that world. So expectations are placed on her that she really ISN'T qualified to fulfill. But she tries.

She doesn't run from battle.
She takes insane risks to try to protect her friends.
She's in love with a guy who's in love with a person that she cannot and never will be. And though he may love her too their obligations get in the way.
And she takes those obligations very seriously.
She stays when she doesn't have to, when she doesn't want to, when it would be better for her not to be there, and she keeps coming back even when they try to keep her away.
She's forgiving and selfless even though she beats herself up over it later.
She's by no means stupid. She takes her schooling very seriously even though her current circumstances make that extremely difficult.
She's juggling two different lives in two different worlds at one time and doing far better at it than most could.

As I said I don't know how far into the series you've been, but give the girl a chance. The manga's at volume 32 and the anime's moving on up to episode 115 in Japan with an ending not really anywhere in sight. And there's A LOT of character development between the beginning (read: what's avaible legally in English) and what's currently happening in the story line. She may surprise you. They all might. They certainly surprised me.

Kagome duhh!!! I mean Kikyo is dead. Why should Inuyasha want a dead girl? I know he wants her, but he's very protective of Kagome.

How much does he want Kagome?

Kagome of course Kagome knows how to deal with Inuyasha's additude

besides Kikyo is dead that thing that's walking around is just a shell a that shell is a bitch excuse me the point is you can't have someone who is dead and I think she was killed to just to be reborn as Kagome so she can be Inuyasha's girl and she knows how to deal with him when he's being bad and sometimes not bad enough

I must agree with many people, Kagome is meant for Inu Yasha. In the English version they've gotten to the episode where Tokijin has posseded its creator and is trying to kill Inu Yasha, just thought to let anyone who is wondering know.
Anyways, Kagome is much better for Inu Yasha because she does care about him. And he does care about her. In the English version, I'm not sure if anyone notices, but whenever he can't have Kagome his true feelings for her shines through. He is VERY protective and possessive of her. And as somebody once said they do act like they're married. When they do have a romantic moment it is adorable. If anyone has seen the English version, InuYAsha blushes whenever the thought of him and Kagome together crosses him mind. It cute.
Now Kikyo and Inu Yasha did have a beautiful thing going on when she was alive and well, but now she's more possessive and him than he is of her, or thats what I'm getting. He does care about her thinks of her often, defends her ,but I'm thinking he's defending the old %0 years ago Kikyo, not the clay Kikyo that is roaming today.
So thats my opipion.
