I've heard some fieldcraft where people have burned the type of their fingers to get rid of their print for a time.

Others have said that baby oil and amonia(can't spell) fix the problem quite well as well...

That is possible. However, the trace evidence recovered would most likely indicate you Morri-chan in another unsolved "crime" (depending on how well the NA is able to clean up after a rather messy operation because messy does happen from time to time...look at Africa). Most of the trace evidence would more than likely point the the gun's origin (you) rather than who used it last.

If the character Scorpion was an assassin worth his salt, he would do his best to implicate another person (you) than himself in the crime. But if your character was an agent worth her salt, then the gun's true origin would never be found out and the case would end up on some documentary about long standing unsolved cases on either TLC or A&E.

Just my .02! ^_^
