:-? Actually, the thing about homosexual parents making their children homosexual -is- true. Or rather, it's more of bi-sexual. Several studies have shown that children raised by homosexual parents are majorily more "sexually deviant." - Including at younger ages.

And no, it's not biological. They like to try and say that it is, but the truth is that it all comes down to the twin studies. Identical Twins = Technically the same person; Terri and I have the same genes, DNA - all that good stuff. Underneath the microscope, we're the same person. So it follows that scientists would want to use twins in studies by changing variables and such.

In a general survey/study, they found it to be a 60/40 split. 60% of the time, when one twin was gay, the other was, too. However, there was that 40% in which one was gay and the other was not. Conclusion: it's not, at the very least, purely genetic.

They've found chemical imbalances and different brain chemistries, but over all, they cannot say that it's genetic. I actually think it's a mix: predisposition to a certain tendency, and then societal factors playing a role.

hey now, enough with the bickering about politics, you guys are supposed to be a "team" aint you? (in the story) i don't think any of us are younger than 14 here so why don't we all just act our age and leave it alone. this here thread is supposed to be about "THE MAN," now i could understand if we were discussing that "THe Man" had two homosexual parents, and we were trying to decide if "THe Man" was homo or not. now lets all be adults and get back on topic.....

Jacks, I don't know about your study. Admitting to yourself that you are gay is a definite feat in itself, let alone admitting it to others. I really have no idea if homosexuality is genetic or a choice, and I'm not sure anyone in the homosexual 'community' is really interested in knowing, either. To them it's just something that they've come to terms with, and are trying to deal with in an open environment.

And then I'm also confused--out of the three-odd dozen children of homosexual parents I met, I think only...two of them? were gay? And another four identified as bisexual, and no one that I met considered themselves transgender, transexual, or any other part of the GLBT acronym. In fact, no parent that I met was hoping that their child would be attracted to the same sex, in fact, they were hoping just the opposite, after experiencing all the prejudice and hate that they lived through.

Also, you have to take into consideration all the children of heterosexual couples who identify as gay, or have chemical imbalances of their own.
