Blissful Ignorance

Yeah, my favorite pairing without a doubt is Naruto and Hinata; I dunno, maybe it's the whole "Hinata's shy about her feelings for Naruto and Naruto doesn't even realize he has feelings for her" thing. Sure, it's cliche to like the main character and his "girl", but in "Naruto", the main pair is really SasuSaku. Anyway, that's why I like "Two Halves"; Hinata and Naruto are completely IC; at one point, when Naruto goes to Hinata's room to wake her up, he has a strong urge to get under the covers with her, and he doesn't know why. I still find that funny!

Anyway, fireblazie, I too have come to appreciate NejiTenten fics, they and ShikaIno tie for second in my book; I'm not a real SasuSaku fan. (that's more cliche a couple that NaruHina!) I want Sakura to be happy, but Sasuke's such an ass to everyone (anyone keeping up with the manga will agree) that I don't think he deserves to be happy. AsumaKurenai is OK, but that's it for me as far as couples go! (I don't think I forgot anyone...) Yaoi (is that spelled right?) is wrong, and I apologize if feelings are hurt, but I can't believe anyone writes that, and it should stop!

And, to agree with fireblazie (which I seem to do a lot) "The Frog and the Princess" and "Drowning in Blood" kick ass, and when it comes to NejiTenten, the latter is awesome, and hilarious (Neji - "I must sniff you" Tenten - "You're sick! But I don't mind be seduced by you!)

Anyway, I got off topic, so here's a summary:

NaruHina - #1
NejiTenten and ShikaIno - #2
SasuSaku - good for her, he's an ass :razz: :x
AsumaKurenai - er... :-?
Yaoi is wrong - authors of such should stop :evil: (there's too much of that on fanfiction.net)

ahahha, I agree with you!! Accept NaruHina, I don't know, but it's really difficult to write a naruhina without going a little ooc, well, for me at least. I think they're a cute couple, but I still like the stoic ass and the stalker princess a little more... Maybe it's that whole Heero and Relena thing, I think I have an addiction to those couples, same with Nejiten... ah well.

Shikaino is a pairing I'm not really interested in. I read it and I like it but I really don't know... there's just something missing. :-?

And I think... Asuma Kurenai is kind of weird... It's definitely a possibility though, since Kakashi teases the two of them a lot, but I don't know if that was supposed to be some sort of hint, or just humor. What about IbikiAnko? Strange yet... quirky? Is that how you spell it? Hmmm....

Here is the accepted couples that I like/accept (in that order):

1. NaruHina..LLLLL all the way!!!
2. SakuSasu...A
3. ShinoIno...a
4. NejiTen...a

Now I put A 'cause it is accepted and I find some hints that the couple is there. I put a as accepted and am not sure if it is there. But I like the last two better than SasuSaku right now since Sasuke is being a pain in the butt in the present. If the last two couples showed visible hints that they will be together, then they will be bumped upwards, never crossing the first spot, of course. Well, this is my opinion, anyway.

Probably something along the lines of "these two really need to get a life.." And she's REALLY polite. Haha... we used to email, but now I guess she's pretty busy with school and all... I used to practice my tagalog on her [correct me if I'm wrong, but you're filipino too, right White Witch?] and she never complained. She's so NICE.

Hehe, she's already used to me saying that. She said she quit her semester for a while in a reply, that's why she has lots of time to update. Yup, I'm filipino too ^^ . Even if I try and type in English in the reviews, since a lot of other people are reviewing also, I tend to slip and squeal in Tagalog....

I'll try and read that story later, TimeShifter16-san, It sounds really good!

Hahaha, I'm a a she, just so you don't get confused! And I agree with you, pretty much, on everything! I somehow still like SasuSaku the best. I don't know why, I agree that Sasuke's being such an IDIOT but I can't help it, I just like them. *looks helpless* Then NejiTen, ShikaIno, and NaruHina, I all like equally. They're all good couples!

TimeShifter16!!! That was a great recommendation. I can't wait to read more of DameWren's story (I think that is the author). It is so interesting and very NaruHina. Hehehe...I can't wait for the reunion. Naruto better kick Sasuke's ass.

BTW, is anyone thinking that Naruto is the 4th's son? Anyone? I am 80% positive that is so, but...the wait is so painful. Naruto is my fave, and I want something good for him (other than him having Hinata and being a Hokage and being the strongest one, that is). Care to share?

... Drowning In Blood is... I don't really know actually. I think I'm just going to write it all and upload it when I feel, but right now... I only have half the next chapter. I'm still tweaking a lemon scene... *cough* so yeah, this might take a while... happy happy...

I just finished reading the manga, and yes, that boy is being a pain, but ehh, the thought of Naruto beating some sense into him and dragging him home in a pool of guilt helps. I don't know why. Maybe it's just me... [I have an odd sense of humor forgive me, I want to see a good fight... and lots of crap being thrown back and fourth] Then again, I'm not sure if that's going to happen, since Naruto's the main character... the entire story would go wacky if he didn't make some sort of dent... so my guess is that he will succeed... erm... I didn't ruin much did I? :x

I'm hoping that Naruto WILL beat some sense on that baka. When I thought he was going to be redeemed, he reversed direction and BAM, there he goes down in my favor. Sasuke no baka!

...I will comment that chibi Sasuke is so KAWAII!!!! Still, what he had to go through...sad. BUT that was then, this is now. Sasuke...*grumbles*

Bookworm; I've got two theories about Naruto, really. Either that he's the 4th's son, or he IS the 4th. I think that's the two most popular theories about him. I mean, when I first saw a picture of Yondaime, I'm like "...Is it just me, or does he look like a grown up Naruto?"

It would be great if Naruto was his son, but then I too got to thinking when looking at pics of the 4th recently that he could be reborn in that form, with whatever spell that he did to trap the fox. I hope that Kishimoto WILL reveal it before the whole thing is over with. I'm tired of waiting!!!
