Blissful Ignorance

First of all, I am going to ask about the legality. I know for a fact places like Deviant Art specifically say that you're not allowed to take/re-use their smilies. So, I'm not going to just take smilies from places/random links when I don't know if there are issues with re-use.

Secondly. there are smiley packs that may be able to be downloaded and installed from phpbb that go with the forum. I have already uploaded one of these expansion packs - which is why we have the number we do. The standard # of smilies available is like 5.

Finally. I'm only willing to add ones that make sense to add. HUNGRY and UNEASY don't seem to be useful to me. If you need to tell someone you're hungry by using a smiley on this board, you need to go to a chat session window. If you're uneasy, that's a topic to take up with a specific person directly, not shirk it off with a smiley face (and hope they 'get' it).

There will also need to be some rules around additional smilies...

-NO posts with JUST smiley faces in it, I don't care if it's 1 smiley or 100. No posts with just smilies.

-NO netspeak. If you've BEEN making posts with "cu l8tr" or thought you might start, that's out. I want NO part of "cu l8tr qt *kissy smiley*"

And yes, I'm saying a lot of No's. It's my job.
