And now you've managed to send
my mind diving right back into the gutter with that "wet and warm" remark.

Thanks ever so much. :-?

Glad you liked it! (I rock? Yay, I rock! *plays air guitar*)

Oh wow. Thanks for saying that it is/could be an IC/canon situation. That's the highest compliment a fic writer can get!

I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for commenting!

I could just picture the green grass and the cloudy sky. The rain only added more to the culminating sexual allure between them. The way they finally came together and admitted their need for each other was so natural it made me picture it scene by scene.
The piggy back ride cinched it for me!
You always leave such wonderful comments. Thank you!
I love throwing in those little details that you seem to love too. I think it makes the story more realistic and interesting. Besides, I hate shoes!

Some how the idea of Heero's and Relena's first time being in a war memorial seems very fitting, I know I would have never thought of it, good job.
I love how you included Odin Lowe and Dr.J in his list of people, I think those two do mean a lot to Heero and not many fics recognize that.
The last line is perfect, how Heero would not only cry for Relena but also kill the one who hurt her.
Great fic!!

Thanks so much for commenting! I've been reading a lot of WWI poetry for a class so I'm positive that, along with a bit of melancholy music, inspired the choice of location.
I think Odin Lowe and Dr. J are underappreciated as well. (I love the backstories in Episode Zero so much!) Although their relationships with Heero and his with them will never be considered normal, they were functional after a fashion, and those two men were really
all that Heero ever
had as far as we know. They made him who he is, and he isn't likely to forget that. And despite everything, when it was all said and done, he really didn't turn out so badly.
And, you know Heero can't ever be tender without then promising homicide.

Great story Smarty. I've always been a great fan of your stories
Keep on writing
Ah, but they're not in a
real cemetary! Since memorials are generally more public than cemetaries, there are larger numbers of guys wandering around in them and thus a larger percentage of the dropdead gorgeous variety than your average cemetary would ever hold.

One, instead of none.

Beautiful. Heero's confession that he would cry for Relena almost made me cry with joy. Thanks for this wonderful fic. Your stories always make me so happy

Ah, I must agree. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G would be an offending word to desribe this fic, but I haven't known a stronger one, yet

I am really in awe for this story, as it showed the whole relationship of Heero's and Relena's, and FINALLY somebody has made Heero to talk about his past, but doing it on his own free will. Really.
And the lemon part... Well, I must agree with
matisleonheart - although I didn't believe 'till the very
end that they'd be
making love (because it is not just a
sex) in the memorial chamber, I really enjoyed the way of narrative and descriptions. And the dialogues were especially entertaining
All in all: GREAT WORK!

I have said that many times before and I will say many times in the future: I will always admire your work
Smarty Cat, as I simply love your stories and I envy you your writing talent

You're one of my favourite authors, remember that

Please write more!
