I've never had the pleasure of reading this before today, although from some of the comments I gather it is an old one. I like how vague hints give the reader an idea of greater themes in these letters. I also enjoyed the Escaflowne references, being a fan of that series

Van and Hitomi are so cute!
Outstanding job Rose, as always. If I had one tenth of your talent I'd be a far greater writer than I am right now.

*hugs* Actually, it's not "an old one" per se. I completed it in mid-August, I believe, for a challenge on a livejournal.com community. So, Morrighan has read it there. I wrote the original, first-run drafts of the letters a few years ago as part of a larger epic I intended to write with Stella - who doesn't write anymore. So, when I took the community challenge, I thought of a way to write a smaller section of the story through the letters, 'beefed up' several of them to be much longer, and added an 'epilogue'. I just need to get the rest formatted and posted here. I hope to do that in the very near future.
And thank you so much for the compliment. We all, as writers (and as people) have room to grow.
Love,
Rose

Love it!...I've always fantasized about the uncanny resemblance of Heero and Van...as well as Relena and Hitome...being that they can be related, respectively.....
What more can I say? Your stories always leave me breathless and entranced.
I'm glad you're back!

Rose~
Can you clarify the ages -- oldest, middle, and youngest brothers -- of Heero, Van and Folken?
Also, what are their ranks? I know Heero's a colonel, so that may indicate that he's the oldest.........but I dunno, because Escaflowne tradition would mark Folken as the oldest; and I can't imagine Van with his temper being any older than Heero or Folken, so I gather he may be the youngest??
Do tell! do tell!! Eager!
Will it be in the author's notes or are you going to make this clear in the next set of letters or the epilogue???
DO TELL! DO TELL! EAGER!
Thank you, darling
