Meery Christmas to everybody! I love the feel of this story. It is so sweet and Relena is so real! Besides, Heero probably would do that after being out of the war for a couple of years.... Or however long after.... Me likey muchly.

Merry Christmas to you too! I'm really glad you like it, and I'm glad the characters come across as realistic. It's sooooo much fun to write in quirks! And behind all the bluster and death threats, Heero really is a decent guy.

There's no set time period for this piece, but I think it's only a few years after the war. Everyone is still unattached and Mariemaia is still young enough that Christmas is a big deal.

As far as holiday one-shots go this has to be the best. Will definately put any 1xR fan in the sprit no matter what their mood. And yes, mistletoe is not required, but merely an excuse.
