Relena's not really beautiful compared to other anime women... though she is prettier in EW than she is in the series I think. And I've heard all those physical characteristics I mentioned listed among the reasons that people give for hating her. 'Cause it's natural for people to hate a fictional character for her bra size, you know. And most people's eyes aren't level because their faces aren't perfectly even.

Thanks for your kind words. It came together very easily and just sort of flowed naturally. It's always wonderful to hear that it makes sense to others though. Maybe I was channeling Relena...?

You're not the only hopeless one then. And the "Nahnahnahnahnahnah!" isn't necessarily directed at the 1x2 fans (I know several who are lovely people; we just don't usually discuss GW), just at the people who insist on bashing Relena for the most superficial and contradictory reasons.

Wow. I really, really enjoyed it! It was simple, but logical. It was filled with emotions and it was a delicious little read. Nothing over the top, just perfect to describe, through a 1xR lover's view, the type of relationship they had. This was absolutely wonderful!

Wow, I'm really really late replying to you on this. Sorry! I didn't receive a review notice though. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my favorite short pieces. The 1xR relationship dynamic is just so fun in so many ways!
Nice. perfect description of what every girl and sometimes guy thinks when they look in the mirror, especially when an outside viewer contradicts thats persons view of themself. Liked it a lot, short and to the point.

I had tried to set it up so that Relena and the reader realized that perceived imperfections and flaws seen via a mirror/reflection do not equal a lack of allure or worth as a person. No one's perfect after all! It's their imperfections that make people interesting.
I think this has become my favorite Relena introspective. This was wonderful. I loved how you took the negative comments that the Relena-bashers swear by and turned them positive. Do you think you'll do more, maybe each other the characters? I'd be fun to see your take on them.
