Anyway...i break writer's block by doing...housekeeping. ^^;; yes...I'm rather odd...but it keep me busy and keeps me...calm for some reason. It's rather amuusing but *ahem* it works (for me) ^^;;. Or I pull up the laptop when I can't sleep and type away.

An atypical thing I do, I take a sheet of paper and a pen and fill it up with whatever's in my head. It could be an idea for a story or just whatever's there. I take pen to paper and I don't stop until either my hand gives out or the ideas stop. but I'm sure once you get to writing your thoughts down, you'll find it ard to stop evenif you want to.

one-shots i can help ya with. When others were sayin about outlines and notes that works well with one-shots.

Get an idea on what you want. Fiddle around with details...and always write it down if you think a lot and have trouble remembering what your other idea was. Otherwise you get other ideas mixed into another and your completely lost at what you were trying to get at.

Hahaha! I have the same problem as you, Angel222. I can't write one-shots (my only one-shot, a Naruto fic, has a sequel that's multi-part ). Too many plot bunnies. I have a castle full of them. Anyone want plot bunnies?

Right now, I have ten fanfiction on the works, five or so original stories in the planning stages or in writing, a manga script to write, and a thesis to finish. XD Yes, I'm insane. What I do is that if I'm tired of writing for the other, I move to another one, or I'll write a scene I feel like writing before writing the other parts. XD

I don't think there is such thing as writer's block, but I'm not sure. What I have is writer's laziness. For most part, I could do a page or a paragraph in a day. sometimes I'll even go for a week without touching my fanfiction.

Don't feel bad if you can't write long stories. It's quality that counts, not quantity (which is why I love beautiful one-shots).

nope, I have enough of my own, but those bastards escape every time I use them for a fic so I never get to finish it
