Blissful Ignorance

Call me crazy... but for some reason I have the gut feeling that either Miroku or Sango (probably Miroku) may end up dying near the end.

Hopefully I am wrong.

I may be repeating (because I'm too lazy to read everyone else's: har, har)

I completely agree with the fact that I can't see Inuyasha ending happy... there are just too many factors that convince of this (not to mention fanfiction has has me altering my version of what would be a 'good' ending) The fact is... no matter if the good does over power the win, I can't see Inuyasha and Kagome getting together. Which is the whole reason I read all your lovely fanfiction... you make me hopeful!!

I just finished the Paradise Kiss Manga... and I was so disappointed with the ending... and I expect that to happen with a few of them... just as I expect that Rumiko will never see that Miroku and Kagome are tragically in love with one another...

Anyways... the end...

Love the series, in fact I'm slighty fanatical. If it doesn't end with Kagome/Inuyasha or Sango/Miroku, I'll pass out. I'm even crossing my fingers Kagura lives so she could hook up with Sesshoumaru. But that's just me!

Kagura does survive Naraku's demise, but I have no idea if she'll live past then. I do know a bit like how Sango and Miroku get married and have kids, Kaede dies, Naraku dies, Kikyou gets killed by Naraku(Poetic justice I think), and...I'd better shut up before people get mad at me.

i don't know why cartoon network did it, but my GOD they always make the same mistakes!!!! :evil: i remember when they canceled rurouni kenshin and i didn't get to see the end (note to all shishio fans"me tooo!!!" ) darn tv networking!!! oh and by the way they canceled Gundam Wing too!! yes my life does suck! :x i depend on any 'continuation of those shows' just by your posts and any fanfics i can get my eyes on! (now you see why this forum is everything i have left! )
yes and since i live in the middle of nowhere, so... there is no sam goody!! or any other stores where i can buy anime merchandise! plus here anime is considered BAD can you believe that people??!?!?

takishka16. In my life, my friends consider me odd for liking anime... I've corrupted my younger brother into LIKING anime and he's not even a teen yet... and all the other adults besides me (20-something mind you) are all tv fanatics...

Goodness gracious...I don't even want to think about the ending yet. I'm like Hitomi, my first anime craze was Escaflowne (note my icon, and maybe a few posts somewhere in the forums where I had an anecdote of my parallel life...well...no Gaia, but you know...) and I'm one to empathize with characters, and i found it sad, but I thought it was a decent ending...still happy. Not knowing the whole truth leaves for thought, and I always like that. GW did that well too, i thought. But yeah, if anything happens in a way I don't like, I could be crying for a bit...
okay, maybe a long while.

Yes Hitomi, my mother calls me weird too. She opened a drawer in the family room where I had stashed a bunch of tapes of anime my friend gave me, and she's like, "WHAT are THESE? Blank tapes?" nooooooo!!!

As repeatedly stated by others, I believe whatever the ending, how the writer leaves it is what fanfiction is for. The writer always tries making an ending, I think, that no one really expects. Sure, we might suspect or wish for a certain ending, but the surprise always makes for a "good" resolution.

On another note: I totally feel ya, takisha16. Here, they cancelled escaflowne before it finished, luckily my friend had the whole series on dvd from japan, then i downloaded the movie. Anywho..

How do you know all that? Was it a website? Has it already happened in the show in Japan?

And I feel bad for all of you that live where anime is considered taboo...I don't know how I would survive without my daily dose of anime...Anime's why I started writing too...and drawing...gosh most of my life and hobbies revolve around anime...it's like a drug...

but back on topic...

I think that even if the series ends sad I'll keep on writing, maybe I'll even write more because of it...I haven't been this attached to an anime since Kenshin...I have like all 24 DVD's I think...I don't know, there are lots...it's like I gave away my soul...but I'm happy!

'Fraid certain people are talking through their hats a little. So far as I know Takahashi has refused to spill the beans about the ending which should be either book 38 or 40. Just got book 34 myself, so damn cute! Inu meets Kagome's annoying school friends! Shippou becomes evil! Sort-of.

O.K. so that is a real spoiler there. Book 36 is still in the process of having its cahpters come out week by week (10 chapters a book). Romiko is having a good time yanking everybody's chains.
