If Vivian closed her eyes she could almost feel him pull her to his strong frame. If she held her breath she could almost feel his lips on hers. Vivian opened her eyes and exhaled--she was tired of living in almosts.
"What are you doing?" Adian asked dryly, "If the answer is living in the past--save it."
"Then I will," she said coldly. Adian rolled his eyes and turned, walking down the hallway with authority. Vivian watched him go and ran a hand through her hair. Vivian closed her eyes and held her breath. When she opened them her features were composed and her eyes were dead--and Diego was gone.
Diego viciously attacked the punching bag. Rage coursed through his veins. He looked at the clock: 1 am. Diego tried to smile but instead grimaced. The thing that stunk about being 1/2 vampire was the fact you never wanted to sleep at night. Unfortunately the fact he was 1/2 demon ment he could survive in day-light settings. Deigo rubbed the back of his neck. He hated night-time when he couldn't sleep. Diego was the 2nd in command of U.N.D.O., he had done a lot of horrible things to both sides of his ancestry--but they didn't trouble him.
"Damn you Vivian," he hissed through gritted teeth. That backstabbing human--no, he mentally corrected himself--that backstabbing vampire.
'All for love, all for stupid, fucked up love' he turned and slammed the punching bag again for good measure. With an audible snap the bag
broke off it's chain and hit the ground. Diego looked at it before turning around and walking out of the room.
