Yeah, I've seen it too and luved it in the first seconds :3 :D

Tsubasa no Kami... Ah, memories... *_* *_* *_* :D

I think that the movie drawing was very good, and characters looked cool - I often heard "Oh, so Escaflowne isthat anime with the charas with so long noses, right?" -.- And in the movie they all had sweet, small noses :D

When I watched it for the first time, I hoped there will be a kissing scene with Van and Hitomi, but, ah, well, you can't have everything at once, right?

And I agree with others that Yoko Kanno is one of the best (if not the best) anime-composers :D Because isn't it true that we all feel the music of hers when we hear it, is it? :D

So, may I join the happy circle of "Escaflowne the Movie" fans? *_* :o

I LOVED the soundtrack to the movie! I have to say though, I'd choose the series over the movie anyday. The movie reminds me alot of Romeo and Juliet in the fact that it seems a bit rushed in the relationship department. That, and the fact that it drags a little in one or two scenes.

Over all, I liked the movie. Van and Hitomi looked wonderful, and the entire thing had a nice feel.

But wait... :-? WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO FOLKEN?! :pale:

Squee:*tears* Noo! Lovely Folken! My dear, favorite blue haired manly man!
Folken((From Series)): Ummm... eheheh *runs*
Squee: Come back! Come back Smexy Blue Mullet man! *pulls on robo arm*
Folken: Noo! Stop that! It'll-
Squee: *looks at now disembodied robo arm* Eheheh...he... *runs away*
folken: *runs after her, brandishing a very pointy object*
Squee:  Not again!!

yes!

ah *le sigh* it is amazing. I love the music, as many have stated. I got the special limited edition with the soundtrack and everything. i like the animation. It was more artsy and less cartoonish. It was darker which expressed the mood of the movie. Ahhhhh i love it. But i also have the entire box set of the series, and i love that too.

I like the characters. They were different but still the same. Like dilandau, he was still psycotic, but not as annoying and feminine. And in my personal opinion, he was pretty hot and a hella lot more creepy.

Oh my God, the ending with Folken and Van. When he's dying and say "Brother, a sweet sound i had almost forgotten..." I cried.

I'm guessing that your question has already been answered a million times over, but i figured i'd just give my opinion.
