I have to know -- was this a reference to Wicked's joke way back when about Hiten being the ugly one? Regardless, it made me giggle during an otherwise spooky/creepy/slimy chapter. That & the parting thought that Inuyasha would be "quite cross with her" -- it's adorable that he's so overprotective, but he always does manage to scream at her for things which really aren't her fault...like wandering off with creepy guys after they've drugged her & felt her up...
Actually, though, kudos for the way you've pulled off Kaminari & his behavior. It really kept me guessing, and even now -- knowing that he's a sketchy sketchy bastard -- I think I'd have drunk the tea, too. It's so hard to believe that people are capable of that kind of thing...
and yet it happens all the time...
Eagerly waiting for the next installment! Brava for being so patient & not sacrificing your plot in order to get Inuyasha & Kagome snuggly faster...I don't think I'd be able to wait.
