My favorite couples are Inu YashaxKagome, MirokuxSango, and SessxKikyo in that order.

You guys are lacking the unconventional pairings...

So I'm going to add onto my lovely list...

Miroku and Kagome (#1 all the way)
Inuyasha and Kagome
Naraku and Kagome
Sesshoumar and Kagome
Hiten and Kagome

gah... what am I saying... any male character would do well with Kagome... except for Kouga (sorry, I know some of you love him, but I just don't--- or all grown up Shippo... I just can't take that one either!!!)

And Sango... I just can't see her with anyone other than Miroku... or Naraku... maybe even Houjo (shudders, I know... that would be evil of me!!!)

Inu-chan is a whole lot older than Kagome and Kikyou, considering he's a good deal over fifty

Thank you for your reply, but I wasn't referring to their age difference. I was talking about the way he is raising her and taking the role of a father figure in her life.

IxK! She is a saint putting up with him though! Maybe some lovin' will make him nicer to her...If that doesn't work, a leash will *snicker*
MxS is also cute...but I really only am interested in Inu Yasha's love life. He's such a cute jerk (and funny) I just love Canon pairings, hence the IxK & MxS.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who though that Kikyo and Naraku seem well suited for eachother...I'm not that fond of either of them ^_^

Just to clear things up, my more recent post is about SessxRin pairings. Not about Kagome and Inu Yasha. I love IxK, but not SxR

Ah... I do see your point, Elyra-chan. I wasn't thinking like that. Sesshie acts a whole lot more mature toward Rin than Inu-chan to Kagome. [Inu-chan is like a 2nd grader sometimes!]

Also, in the case of any of the hanyou, youkai pairings with humans, the hanyou/youkai is going to live either:

[Paxbanana begins to run away from Inu-chan, screaming out her sentences.

1) A very, very, very, very long time
2) And even longer time [Do youkai die a natural death? It seems they don't, as far as i can tell in the series.]

And everyone knows what happens to the human. They croak after about 70+ years at the latest--

How do you fix that problem?

Hmm... Well, a major part of Kagome's personality is that she likes Inu-chan the way he is. I was thinking that at first, but he'd then change himself for her. It's still a logical idea, though; my brain just gets in the way...

Oh, just so this is a legitamate post (did i spell that right?), i gotta say that i don't think Kikyou goes with anyone (permenanetly). Now, i know i didn't spell THAT right...
