ugh so I just saw the last ep of seed...and I'm depressed now. Too many people died for my liking in this series. What do you think, grateful_days? Oh and how did tori fly around space without any type of propellant? There isn't exactly air for the little bird to use berneulli's principle. Eh well. I bet that there'll be an OVA or something just like gundam wing.

Seriously, this is a series where they have devices that stop nuclear reactions and even more devices that stop those first devices. They've got genetically modified super humans. They've got a giant nuclear space laser aimed at Washington D.C. The way I see it, if Tori can damn well do what he please. ^_^

I haven't seen the episode yet, alas, because Streamload hates me but I've read synopses. I want to know A.) What happens to Lacus and the rest of the Clyne Faction and B.) What the deal was with the space whales.

But I'm still glad Athrun and Cagalli didn't die. I really prefer them over Kira and whichever chick he has a hang up on now...

I think they'll make a whole brand new series for SEED 2. I think Bandai is trying to make this into the "new" UC. Would probably explain why they went to all the trouble to come up with UC-esque technologic explanations. Leave it to Bandai to milk something for all it's worth. Gundam's been around for almost 25 years now... I would put it past Bandai to try for another 25. ^_^

Yeah its quite obvious bandai spilled many of their pennies on SEED, what with getting sony to do their music and getting so many big names in on this project. They probably want to make a new gundam universe for today's new generation of anime fans who have no lives...I know I sure don't. Honestly I never really liked the original Gundam series, but lets see if the spinoffs of SEED will be a success.

Heheheh... I loved the original Gundam series. For awhile, I was a hardcore Gundam fan, mostly because of online RPGs.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to what Bandai does with SEED. After Z Gundam was a big success in 1985, there was a major Gundam series or movie every year... Maybe we can get back to that, eh? ^_^

you know there should be a new fanfic forum solely dedicated to SEED fanfiction on BI, and we should be the regulators. What suprises me is the lack of a love hina or evangelion fanfic forum here, but i guess there are enough eva forums to go around...love hina however is somewhat lacking on the net.

I doubt there'd be a big interest in SEED until it's put on Toonami next year. Still, that would be cool. Since there won't be anymore for about six months, it's a lot of time to write a continuation or something.

Evangelion is hard to write fics for, I think. Just because of the story. I've read a few very good ones but still... You've got a bunch of characters who've got issues... Come to think of it, maybe that fact makes it easier to write for it.

Love Hina has quite a few fics (500+) on ff.net but most of them aren't my bag. A whole lot of "New (American) guy comes to Hinata-sou, hilarity ensues" stuff going around. I wrote an LH fic last summer that was pretty well-recieved and really haven't looked at the section much since then.

What about Great Teacher Onizuka? That's such a bad ass series that it deserves some good fics... I went out and bought up the volumes I didn't have today.

SEED's commin to toonami next year? Urgh they'd probably cut out all the parts that suggested frey and kira doing anything interesting...probably censor out all the exploding ppl too....maybe if we're lucky they'll put it on adult swim.

I can't even begin list all the sites dedicated to eva fiction on the net but for love hina fics, there are only perhaps 3 or 4 decent sites out there. Still a SEED forum would be interesting...probably won't be anything more than me, you, and perhaps a few others droning about the magic dinosaur whale for a few months but it would pick up speed sooner or later.[/code]

SEED and Zeta are coming to CN. I think (this is what I've heard) SEED will be on Toonami and Zeta on Adult Swim, owing to Zeta's depressing-ness.

Yeah, a SEED forum would be cool and all but, to be fair, this thread is turning into our own personal SEED forum. =p
