Geez, I love this idea, but I just have one eensie-weensie question.

What if you have a reincarntion fic, which so obviously includes death? Now this is just an idea swirling around in my head, but in order for the wonderfully bittersweet ending to ensue, some characters have to die, and yet, it makes perfect and oh-so-happy sense once the fic is finito. Can we leave at that the 'really-sad-and-depressing' death is not allowed and leave some room for 'bittersweet-but-they're-together-in-the-end' death? Of course...I guess when you're dead you can't very well propose, no can you?

Um... Question? *waves hand in the air* Both of my entries are ineligible, but I was wondering if I could enter them anyway... Because one has death in it, but that's because I don't like Relena choosing someone over Heero either, so usually for alt. pairings, I kill him off. Which was what I did for one of them, but there is still a happy ending for it. And the other one, well it has the nice proposal, and everything, but it doesn't have the requisite happy ending.

If you don't want to let them in the contest, I'll just put them in the proper sections as a seperate fic.

Hi again. I'll try to answer your questions as best I can, but it's sooo hard sometimes...ok, let's see...

Iceprincess: Hmmm, is there any way you could email me further details? Reincarnation would definitely have to involve some death, so your point is duly noted. So, basically as long as the fic has an overall happy tone, I can't see anything wrong with it. Why don't you email/pm me to make sure (cause it's just that the no deathfic thing was Rose's call, not mine). So tenatively...I just like happy things ^_^, so if you can do that with a little death involved with the reincarnation, it sounds alright to me.

Symee-sama: Alrighty, let' see. First of all, for the fic with Heero dying...well...it really depends on how you do it, I guess. And for the other, I'm afraid the ending does have to be happy if we accept it as part of the 99 ways. For right now, my advice would be to post the stories in their respective forums and I can see if the one seems to fit in our guidelines. Does that sound ok? I think Rose is randomly in England right now or something, so I'd like to have her input before I can give you an answer (the Heero subject is a touchy one). Even if the fics don't work for the contest, I'd still love for you to post them!!! I'm glad the challenge inspired you!
