I'm not used to reading stories when either Heero and Relena both marry off to different characters, but it was a nice to read something a little different.

You really surprise me with having Heero and Noin as a couple.(I find that this coupling is a kind of rare) Great job of portraying both characters and creating an angsty mood!

Excellent job on the story!

I was going back through my older fics when I came back across this one.I have several ideas to expand on it.
I have a prequel in the works, but that one will most definetly go into the Alt. Forum(Yes.Even I write Alts. on occassion).I've been trying to think up a sequel, but here's the thing.
I want to make it 1xR and therein lies the problem. So I'm asking for advice from the other writers on how to do this.Relena's already single,my prequel will go into detail. But I like Noin so getting Heero away from her without getting cliche' will be a problem.
So...any advice?

Here's some ideas:
Well, what was it that separated Heero and Relena in the first place? You could go on the angle that he married Noin out of a sort of revenge for perhaps pain Relena caused him? Did Relena betray him in some way? You could consider that option.
Maybe he married Noin because he really loved Relena, but he felt he didn't deserve her (somewhat cliche). However, the twist would be that he married Noin because she was close and comforting to Relena, and therefore he developed warm feelings for her. In other words, she was as close to Relena as he would allow himself to be, and loved Relena
through Noin.
You know what would be really interesting? What if Heero was schizophrenic and he really thought Noin was Relena whenever he was alone with Noin? Schizophrenia can be a sudden condition that can develop at any stage in life, especially when exposed to stressful environments and circumstances as Heero was his whole life. Perhaps a conflict he had with Relena sent him over the deep end or something that
he did to Relena had that effect on him.
Just a few suggestions I thought you might like.
And by the way, this was very sad. I normally don't read stories where Heero and Relena are paired off with other people permanently, but the emotion in this was raw and very convincing. In short, it was a wonderful story!

Two words: Ansty and beautiful. Great story, Ryan. And great ending. Love the way you wrote this; didn't linger on things, and the several cliffhangers througout were priceless. You are good at angst. Really.

This was so different from the usual kind of one-shots/full length-stories you read out there, it caught my attention and was refreshing from the usual Heero and Relena stories you usually find in fan fiction. I really enjoyed this.

Ouch... that hurt. Reading this really hurt.
But it was great. Not the pain part, of course ^__^ I meant the story. You really managed to capture the emotions that roil around at a funeral. And OMG, Heero and Noin married! :o That was some twist ending you added there. It's just too bad that Relena ended up alone. * sigh * That's life, I guess.
Once again, great job and I hope you'll post that prequel. I'd love to read it!
