Blissful Ignorance

Why do I always get a feeling of mourning when I read the ending to each chapter posted with this fic??????!!!!!!!!!

I get so into it that when I get near the end, I want to cry I'm so loving the 1xR moments and yet Zechs character sure makes the badness come out (course poor Noin tries to make him open his eyes just a bit *kicks Zechs in the shin* :evil: )

Can't help but get a laugh out of Quatre interupting 1xR and Wu's talk with a wounded Heero in the kitchen. All the characters are great!

Well here's to well wishes on the next chapter

I will never cease to be amazed by how you guys can com eup with such brilliant stories!!! I absolutely love this story and look forward to mroe anytime you ready!!! I cant thin of ways to compliment you that wil fully express how brilliant I think you guys are!!!

This chapter was awesome. More twists and mystery, especially concerning this Herr Darlian. Who could it be? Relena? She seemed innocent in this one, but who knows?

You know, sorry if this comes across wrong, since *I* know who it is, it didn't even occur to me that this would be a mystery. Yet, you're not the only person to venture a guess on the topic. Funny how you guys pick up on things we authors don't.

I loved Wufei's role here, he sounded so...I can't describe it.

Hopefully not OOC. As long as OOC isn't the end of that sentence, I'll be very relieved. He's a tough cookie to write, at least for me.

This was a lovely chapter, and I like the way Heero is looking at Relena, even IF he is going to leave...

I like him being romantic with Relena, too. This is a rarity for me, I think - getting to write them actually IN a relationship. Most of the time, the trouble in my fics is getting them together. But NEVER FEAR! All is not resolved on that front.

Fantastic! My dad was an officer on a destroyer in the Pacific in WWII (yup, he's 80 years old & my honest-to-God Daddy),

WOW! Hubby's grandfather was in the Navy at the time, and so was my dad's dad. Mom's dad was in Patton's army in Europe.

so I love WWII fics (even though this is a completely different front). If you ever want a first-hand account of the war in the Pacific -- SHAMELESS PLUG -- he wrote a book, & it's in a lot of university libraries -- 200,000 Miles Aboard the Destroyer Cotten -- geisha's & all

Sounds REALLY interesting. I'm going to try to make it to the library that I haven't seen the inside of since college, and I'll look for it when I'm there. What's the author's last name?

Anyway, lovely fic! I especially love the way you've worked in lines & images from the anime -- esp. the difference between protecting the country & protecting HER. Gorgeous!

Can't take credit. *points to Stella and Luvspook* I just write the Heero x Relena parts and cranky Zechs to Heero or Relena. I rather enjoy that role. Stella's the brilliant one behind the Black Orchestra plotline - which was a real resistance movement in the war. Little known, but we did base it on historical fact.

And of course, this work is originally Luvspook's brainchild. *hugs Luvspook*
