Poor Heero and Relena, why is Heero acting tough and told her to go away!!!
Because that's what little boys are like at that age. Especially one who has abandonment issues.... Push them away first so they can't hurt you.

Ummmmmm, are you talking about DG2? Or the continuation of this fic? Because THIS story is finished. Dangerous Games was completed in March of 2001, if I recall correctly. I promised a continuation, and I've been working on the SAME ONE I thought of when I finished the original, for essentially 2 years now, and have only 5 chapters + prologue finished, pages of notes, and a plotline that outsmarted me. It somehow took a severe detour into intelligence and counter intelligence missions, and I'm totally screwed until I figure out how to write it. I *will* manage it, it's just taking way longer than I anticipated. *sigh*
But if you're talking about just THIS one, Dangerous Games 1, it's done, and can be found in my Featured Author forum, minus the 2nd epilogue I recently decided to add. Here's a link:

My apologies. It was not a "charade" but rather a note to accompany a prologue to a story that has been finished for 2 years. I just didn't expect people to be terribly interested in back story for a fic that's been done for so long, especially since it has nothing to do with the 2nd story/sequel. I apologize if it offended you in any way.
Kaili Charmer wrote: We come here for a reason- to read fics, and to finish reading fics. I'm more a latter than the former myself, though I do check out new writers every now and then to give em a chance.
Understandable. I come here to read fics, too. I'm always TRYING to read new fics and new authors, I don't always manage to keep up, though. It's hard when you run the site, write, and work for a living to really read EVERYTHING I want to read, but I come here every day trying to read through all the things I've seen posted....
Kaili Charmer wrote: But still, a lot of the drive to come here is to finish reading what I've started, and the disappointment of installments not being here is increasingly difficult to handle.
Well, I do apologize for that. I wish I could write faster, I honestly do. I remember when I first began writing and I could put together a couple of chapters of DG and one of Traitor and maybe another of Missing in a weekend. But my writing has changed, has become more labor intensive, and my chapters longer. So that once upon a time when I wrote chapters of 1000-2000 words or so, I could update once a week, whereas now I post a chapter of 10,000 words, but it takes me a month or longer. Okay, so maybe Missing ch 22 isn't going to be 10,000 words, but it's already at 4,000 rough drafted, and I have 2 more scenes to go. But the point is, I guess I thought the quality made up for some, not ALL, but made up for SOME of the additional time it takes. I agree, there's no excuse for taking 9 months to get a chapter out, but unfortunately, I can't just spend my days writing yet. One day, I will, but today, it's not possible.
I am
truly sorry for the frustration level that people experience with waiting for my fics, and other people's. I wish there was more I could do.
Kaili Charmer wrote:So anything related to my readings I, well...read. Okay, enough with that. I loved your prologue and I look forward to reading the second installment of Dangerous Games hopefully soon!
I provided a link in a prior post, but the story is complete in my forum:

Thanks for reading!
