ZECHS! I'm absolutely in love with him, as KMF can tell you, and so his letter from the Queen of Egypt made me roll on the floor. Especially his desire to prolong the meeting as long as possible, since I'm guessing the Queen is Noin. Tee hee. He's going to get a surprise when he finally meets her. I can't wait!

As for Heero and Relena, what can I say? Heero's mysterious background is coming into focus and Relena's relationship with her brother is absolutely endearing! Great writing, Mel. So Heero is destined for the gardens? *laughs behind her hand* I doubt he will be happy doing that. Perhaps Relena will make him part of her guard or something, although I did think he might become a gladiator, but now I can't see Relena condoning such violence, or maybe she will, because it was such an integral part of Rome. In any case, I'm anxious to read more! *thwacks Mel on the head* Get back to your closet and start working!! ^_^ I must have more of this story or I shall simply...er...go crazy! Yeah!

It took me a while to reply to this fic and I apologize. A story this good certainly deserves feedback. It's very well written for the time period. It made me feel like I was there. Good descriptive beginning also. Looking forward to the rest!

First off, let me just say that you picked such a wonderful time periods to center this fic on. Heero purchased as a slave by Relena. How original! And as anyone will tell you, seeing him beaten and bleeding just adds to my enjoyment of the fic. In fact, I think you modeled the slave trader after me, didn't you? *grins* j/k
