“Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to Chloe-my…my dead wife’s sister.”
Greetings echoed from around the room, beginning with Quatre and ending with Trowa.

Unnoticed by all but Chloe and Hilde, Quatre glanced at Wufei in the hope of catching his attention so as to attempt to comfort him in any way possible; as it was obvious just by the extremely detached expression that Wufei now wore on his face.

Duo noticing the expression after a while questioned the new girl in a way so as not to hurt any ones feelings.

"Can i ask you a question, Chloe? Is it?"

"Yeah, sure."

"How did you find out we were here?......"

"I hacked into the government's computer and found out that he was working as a Preventer, so I thought he would be at Preventer hq," Chloe comments, getting approval by everyone, kinda.

"Another hacker? Just how of us are there?" Duo asks. Meanwhile, both Gallian and Porthole give the girl a questioning look, then make eye contact with one another, as if they read each other's mind.

"Something's wrong with this girl."

"Well you're welcoming to stay here Chloe, though things may be crazy a bit. Now, why don't we all get some sleep? It's been a while since we've had a real break and we all need to be at our peak," Gregory suggests as he heads out the door.

"Sounds like a great idea. I'm going to check on Hilde and Reku first though," Duo says, being the first to leave.

"Hey Maeko," Naora says as she approaches Maeko from the back. Maeko turns around and looks at the slightly shorter girl.

"Yeah?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my room and maybe we can have a slumber party. You know, so we can get to know each other more. After all, we are the only two female pilots here."

"Sure, why not?" Maeko shrugs as Naora jumps once, grabs her hand and leads her out behind the rest except Wufei and Chloe.

"So Chloe, what do you want to do?"

"I would like to rest too Wufei. It's been a long trip."

"Of course. I'll show you too a room."

"This is going to be way too easy."


Haha! Chibi Reli's computer is messing up. And so is her brain.

As Wufei walked her to a room she wondered how easy it would be to blow the place up with them all trapped inside.

" Thank you for the room, goodnight." And with that Wufei walked away.

As he was walking away the two boys were walking in that direction.

" Porthole I have an idea but I'm gonna have to borrow something of Reku's first." Gallian said slowing down by her room.

" What are you going to get." Porthole asked with a worried look on his face.

" That handy dandy stealth watch he has, I'm sure his father will let me use it, seeing as he has the same feeling we do about this girl." Gallian said sneaking to the sick bay.

" Hello, boys what do you want?" Hilde said watching them closely. " Oh, I know here, you go."

She hands him Reku's watch. " Just don't break it, it's very dear to him."

" thank you." And the two boys walk away.

" Tonight, we'll impliment our plan, when every one is asleep and if the girls catch us we'll lie." Gallian said thinking up a plan

" I hope this works....

I had to take Reku out for a while because my mom was driving me crazy about him and Maeko.

"You know, you have really nice hair for a fighter. I was expecting rough and icky," Naora says as she finishes brushing Maeko's hair. They both sit on Naora's bed, Naora with shorts and a teeshirt and Maeko with pants and a tank top.

"Thanks," she replies, though more like a whisper.

"Hmm, so Maeko, how did you join this group?"

"ONe minute I was wandering and on my way to New York and the next I was recruited as a gundam pilot," she answers, looking straight ahead at the mirror in front of them.

"Wow. I've been training for a while since my father helped build the gundams. He built one for me too and since then, I've been getting ready for another battle," Naora says, looking at her towards the mirror all cheery.

"That's nice."

"Alright. You need to stop mopping around. What exactly is going on between you and Reku? I mean one minute your fighting, the next your having a conversation by yourselves and acting all weird," she says, moving in front of the girl.

"There's nothing between us. We're just partners." Maeko shakes her head and looks at Naora again. Without notice, she gets up from the bed and heads towards the door.

"Where you going now?" Naora asks, getting off as well.

"I'm taking a walk."

"What's going on Chloe?" Dagger asks over the little comlink around Chloe's wrist.

"I had no trouble getting in and no trouble gaining everyone's trust for the most part. I'm going to find the main computer and hack into it, maybe even destroy the gundams and base while I'm at it."

"AS long as you don't get caught."

"Don't worry I won't. The only way I could get caught is if an invisible person is following me.", she ends, with a smirk as she shuts off communication and gets ready for her project.

" So are you sure this is going to work Gallian?" Porthole asked still a little unsure about what they were doing

" Sure, I saw Reku do it plenty of times to know what I'm doing. " Gallian said as the walked out into the hallway.

" Alright."

Gallian and Porthole snuck past Naora's room and past their own rooms. It took a little skill to get past the sick bay where they met another wandering boy trying to stay up under his own weight.

" Where are you two going."

" Nowhere now go back to bed."

" Alright, fine.. fine all I wanted was something to eat."

And with that the boy snuck back into his room.

" that was close, if that had been his father-"

" He probably would have helped us." Gallian said near Chloe's room

" We better not get caught...

"If we do, the worst that'll happen is they might make us train harder," Gallian said, not minding.

"If we get caught, I'm so not responsible for this."

Gallian snorted at Porthole. "Weakling."

"We'll discuss the construction of L4's new colony next month, when Mr. Winner can join us. He's been out of action on a business trip for the last couple of months," Relena told the ESUN Council. "Meeting adjourned."

As soon as she stood. Heero unsurprisingly sprang from the shadows of a corner to lead her out of the Council room with a hand near her back.

"God, who'd've thought they'd actually question a construction unit?" Relena murmured to herself.

Heero answered anyway. "They're overly cautious."

She was still a touch frigid from that morning. When would the man get a clue? "Seems so."

They climbed into her white limousine once outside, but there direction was not that of the Peacecraft Palace.

"Heero?" Relena turned to him in confusion. "Where are we going?"

"The airport."

"Airport? Heero, I have to leave for Australia at two tomorrow morning."

Heero's shoulders stiffened. "I cancelled your trip. There's somewhere else you have to be."

She was annoyed, certainly, especially since she had no idea if Rosaan had returned yet. But she couldn't tell him that she had a soldier taking refuge in her house. And she was willing to trust him. "And where is that?"

"America. In New York City."

Relena blinked. "But that's where..."

The gaze that met hers was hard as steel and seemingly just as unbreakable. "They're waiting for us."

Heero watch Relena walk, he knew she was angry but who cared, the fate of this peaceful world rested in hers and five other novice gundam pilots. this was no longer his battle. The new wave of pilots could handle this battle.

" So, Heero, what are their names?"

" Well there's 01- Gallian, who you know under a different name. Then 02 Reku, you know him. 03 is Maeko who is am expert swordswoman. 04 Porthole, well that's not his real name. He can teleport. and 05 Naora, she's a scientist with her father."

" Really only five? Too bad my brother wasn't here to see this."

"Oh he's coming, all the way from Mars, yeah , he should be in preventor base in two days, it seems that the new pilots like to make trouble. He's also bringing his son."

" Hello Miss Relena, Heero. Are you going on this flight too."

A young red haired girl in a wheelchair spoke to them. " So are you investigating this new threat too. Lady Une wanted me to come down for safety issues."

" Well then I see we'll be going together Mariemeia."

And with that they boarded the airplane.

" Hey someone's coming!" Porthole said as they walked closer to the room.
" Will you turn that thing on already, just what I need, to get in trouble with you."

" Nah, I'll pin it on somebody else. Alright don't move."

He activated the watch and they disappear from sight.

" Cool, now if we can just get into her room.....

Hehe. Chibi Reli had a fun friday.

"SO how are we supposed to get in?" Porthole asks as the two stand outside Chloe's door.

"We need to figure that out."

"Wufei is coming." They watch as Wufei appears at the door with an armful of things and knocks on the door.

"Chloe? Are you still up?"

"What is it Wufei?"

"I have a few things for you. Can I come in?"

"Sure."

"This is perfect," Gallian whispers. Wufei opens the door and enters as the two invisible boys enter as well. He goes over to the bed and puts it down.

"Thank you Wufei. It was very kind of you to bring this."

"You're still family Chloe and I always respect my family. Have a nice night."

"I will. Thank you," she says as he leaves, before going over to a small laptop on a nearby desk.

"Why me? All I know is how to use a sword. Everyone else has been taught how to use a gundam and to pilot. Why did things have to turn out this way?" MAeko says to herself as she walks through the halls.

"Maeko, what are you doing up? Were you coming to visit Reku?"

"Duo. I was just taking a walk. I needed to clear my head," she asnwers, turning her head towards the pilot heading her way.

"I know how it is. Being a pilot for the first time can be a big thing, but you'll be just fine. Let's go visit Reku now. I'm sure he would like to see a pretty face," he says, putting an arm around her shoulder and leading her in his direction.

"ALright."

"If you don't mind my asking, what did you and he talk about after dinner?"

"Nothing really. Just chit chat."

Reku's eyes opened as he heard footsteps.

"Reku," Maeko whispered, unconsciously worried for her fellow pilot. Across the room, Hilde smiled as the girl kneeled by his bed. "Are you all right? That device... You must feel like hell."

A low chuckle rumbled in his chest. "That's a way of saying it."

Maeko's eyes lifted to Hilde's. "You look exhausted," she said in sympathy. "I'm not at all tired. If you want to, you can go get some sleep, or I can bring you coffee or something."

Hilde wanted to stay with her son, but seeing the look passing between Reku and Maeko, she opted for a more convenient decision. "I'll sleep a while, thank you, Maeko." Going to the bed, she kissed Reku's forehead in a motherly way. "Rest easy, son."

"I will. 'Night, Mom."

Duo followed Hilde out with a sly grin.

Reku's eyes returned to the girl's as soon as his parents were out of the room and the door was shut. "Come to reprimand the invalid?"

A little insulted, her brows lowered. "Have I said anything to scold you?"

"Not yet you haven't," he mumbled.

"Reku." Some black hair fell over her shoulder. "I was worried about you, okay? Really worried."

A slow smile spread on his face.

"Don't get high and mighty. I'm just telling you I was concerned. I don't think..." She paused, rephrased. "I don't know how I'd stand this war without you, Reku. You attitude is part of what keeps my fear at bay."

"Uh-huh. And what's the other part?"

She smiled. "I look hot while I'm fighting."

Reku laughed. "Well, I don't think I disagree."

Maeko became serious again. "Reku, please. This isn't easy for me to say. I've had problems were guys since I was little. But, I don't know. I think I might be starting to really like you. Porthole and Gallian and the old Gundam pilots are nice, too. But you...I might have the serious liking potential for you."

But not love, he thought reluctantly. Well, she needed to go slow, and that was fine with him.

"Maeko, thank you for saying all this."

She smiled. "Your welcome."

"Goddess for sure," he murmured, and drifted asleep.

Surprised, Maeko blushed. "If I start to love you, Reku...It'll distract me while I fight." She set a hand on his. "I can't affored to love you just yet."
