im watching the first fummofu right now, already giggling. the part where souske is reading kaname's notes for class..."lu lu lu" it's so cute and silly. lu lu lu!

Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid


Full Metal Panic fans, rejoice! Kadokawa Shoten has officially announced that a new Full Metal Panic TV series will be produced. The title of the new anime will be Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.

Yasuhiro Takemoto will again be returning as series director. The Second Raid will apparently be a more serious story, with the plot coming from the two Full Metal Panic! Owaru Day By Day novels.

According to fan information, these novels are set somewhere in October in the Full Metal Panic timeline. This places them after the first series (which ended in August) and second series (which took place in September) so in this sense the new anime will be a sequel.

it is best to go into the series knowing that Fumoffu is not a real continuation of the FMP storyline (as I hear The Second Raid is) but rather Fumoffu consists of, I guess you would call them "filler" episodes, that could almost fit into the original FMP's storyline

YYEEEEESSS!!! There just HAS to be! *hopeless romantic*

I could still walk in that screen and just slap Kurtz for interrupting their forest moment *grumbles* I mean, it was funny, but darnit there was nothing else remotely close to that in the rest of the series!! *frustrated*

Oh it better be good, real good, in the Second Raid !!!

[although, Ep 14 & 15 of Fumoffu are kind of...well...all I can say is: watch ^^]

It looks a little more serious, and the animation looks a lot like Fumoffu as opposed to, I think Gonzo did the first one. But I don't mind! :salute: They just need to make it available to DL already ^^;;

You wouldn't see it in your heart to...share the promo, would you?? :D :bounce:

All this FMP talk has made me want to rewatch the first season again. I know it's terrible to say, but I was sort of disappointed in Fumoffu. :( It lacked the awesome plot stuff from the first season, and Sousuke just wasn't quite as lovable (except in his fumoffu suit).

The Second Raid sounds like it will be awesome, though!

yes i got to finish it! now im left with nothing but waiting....boo! awe i was hoping for more moments between sousuke and kaname. sigh. it was still nice.
