I knew it would happen they slaughtered my poor Kenshin. I noticed the lack of major bblood spillage besides me? I mean good greif. When the fake battousai killed those three-oh hold one they only shoed two didn't they- they couldn't have possibly shown that one guy get ripped in half. there was no blood what so ever!!! just these annoying white looks liek winds did them in things on a black background!!!!!! I am goignot curle up and cry soon because of this. or maybe kill some well deserving TV excuatives probably the latter. it make me feel so much better

I decided to boycott Kenshin anyway though, I just KNEW they'd mess it up somehow.

well i love kenshin no matter what. kenshin is the best he is my role model. i wish i could swordfight like him but i am only half as good as him.

i am a kenshin purist. i don't liiek CN to begin with so Kenshin was jst completely twisting the knife..er.. katana counterclockwise. its liek watching Inuyasha. which has turned into a a amaerican ized anime it so sucks dubbbed

I think all that Mandy was saying is that with the editing, etc, on CN, the show has lost something because the content has been so severely altered. It's a wonderful series with a lot of very meaningful moments and undertones (and yes, BLOOD), and when those aren't brought out because of censorship, it takes away from the characters and the story. We can't get the whole and true impression of who they are.

However, on the bright side - at least more people will be exposed to the series, and will hopefully seek it out in its true form. There is a lot to take away from a story like Kenshin's, that a person can be good and evil and everything in between, and if they love enough, they can make it through just about anything (and lots of other good things, too).

But yes, Mandy. Regardless of my little "cup is half full" speech, I feel your pain.

However, on the bright side - at least more people will be exposed to the series--this is nota bright side. how many people who intend to write fanfiction for RK atauly do research for hte time period? and yes this is the start of my japanese clothing rant. what is going to happen when Saitou comes in? he has the absoulute bloodest enternace i have seen in a anime. look what he did to my poor Sano! how are they going to posssibly make that child freindly? adn lets not get stated on the kyoto arc. sheesh. they might as well jsut show the sayonara eps and the returning to tokyo eps. anytign else will be so slaughter to a point here is unplateable to watch.. msut right rant o make me fell better. *shuffles off egor style*

I have to agree with you there. I don't know HOW they are going to do the Kyoto Arc. Kenshin gets *ahem* beaten, slashed, stabbed, burned, bitten, nearly strangled... am I missing anything? And yes, poor dear Sano....

I wonder if they're even going to show it. They may just stop at the end of the first arc and be done with it. Either that or it will have to go to midnight run, I suppose. Even still *sigh*

And yet, I still hope for some good Kenshin x Kaoru fics *pokes forum*
