It's easier to just reply here, and the answer to your question is no. Currently, Fumoffu is the latest installment of the FMP series. There hasn't been any news at all as to whether or not it will continue. As for FMP in Noth America the United States is the only country presently showing it and thats on the east coast part of the anime channel experiment started by ADV FMP's licenced company.

There's currently no anime after FMP? Fumoffu!, however, there are novels set after both series'. Sorry if if anyone's said this about the novels (I haven't had the chance to look through a lot of the posts) on the forums before.
FMP started as a series of illustrated novels (not manga. Actual text with a number of illustrated drawings throughout) way back in 1998. FMP! was based upon the first few novels, and Fumoffu is based on some of the comedy novels (the events of these novels are also in the manga).
However, there are also a set of novels, called 'End of Day by Day', which start around the middle of October.
(Sousuke and Kaname's fishing trip happens around the last week in August, and in an episode of Fumoffu, a calendar gives the date as somewhere during September, so part of that series happens after the end of the first season. Some of the earlier episodes seem to take place during the same time as FMP!)
So, shortly after the two's parting at the end of the first season, Sousuke is sent back to Jindai High School. There are currently rumours of a possible third season based upon 'End of Day by Day', but no one has any idea if that will ever happen. Nice to hope, though.
If you want to read 'End of Day by Day', this site on the net is translating it.

This site also has a good bit about the novels, as well as scans of the illustrations.

So, in other words; yes to more story after Fumoffu but no to more anime.
Hope that helps
