Heero, you're a great person, and you make me smile. Thank you!

Look! You made me smile again! :)

Rasb, maybe it's just a little problem of overwork. Restart your computer, and se if it still does it. If so, then mail again, we'll see.

My question exactly, I can help you the best I can but I need to know what you're running. It sounds like you're using Windows Media Player, but I'm not sure.

Well, I have Windows Media Player (for Windows XP Proffesional), and also DivX version 2.5 and Alpha Player, I think. But it's not with those programs. Icon appears even when I click on some folders... My computer was running some time yesterday, and when I tried to watch Fruits Basket one more time, everything was fine! But now, when I turned on my compy, everything started again :( I really don't know what has happened. Probably something istalled on my compy while I was surfing the net... I don't know anything anymore! :(

You mean you can read things that are from the exterior (VCDs, DVDs) but can't read files in your documents? Or you can't read anything at all?

If it's from the inside, then it's maybe the type of file attributed to your program. IOW, your program forgot it had to read mp3s or the such. It happens sometimes...

But can you please repeat the message that appears whenever you try?

No, it's not like that. When I tried to watch some movie yesterday, the icon appeared. It appeared even when I clicked on "My computer" icon. Than, after some time I tried to open the movie again, and everything was okay. Today, message appears again. It's something like thet (sorry, don't remember it):

Runtime error 216 and-some-numbers.

I tried few minutes ago. Icon appears, but has other message: it says something that memory can't "read" the memory and there are some numbers and annoucement about some complications. I reallly don't think it's something with my media players, cuz the day before yesterdat everything was fine. Hell, everything was even at 2 p.m. ! I really don't know what happened! I don't much time to fix it, because I'm going to a class trip tomorrow and I'll be back at Friday :-? So what now?! :pale:

Is your computer overloaded (too much files)?

If that's the case, then you should try cleaning it or something. You can delete the files you don't use anymore, in order to add more memory...

Runtime error... Maybe you want to check out for viruses. Do you have an anti-virus? You can scan your computer. It only takes a few minutes, and that way, you can see if it really is something you got on the net.

If you're in a hurry to fix it, then I suggest you call someone you know who has knowledge of it.

It depends on the comp's speed. Mine is pretty fast, so I'm talking for myself, I guess. Since it's my computer, and my family doesn't share with me, I guess that the lack of large files makes it quicker.

But if Rasb's PC is slow too, it's maybe an indication there's a clean-up to do!
