:( .........I'm a fan of the american voice actors....... I've seen most of their work, I do plan to watch GW in japanese, I have the DVDs but I don't like reading subtitles  . Im taking up on learning japanese and french.
I dont see what the big deal is on who sounds better, as long as the character isn't changed. I have heard their japanese voices on the odd/even numbers. (yay i got to see odd/even no.s :bounce: )they all sound equally good to me, they might sound older in the dub but they are 15 maybe their voices have cracked? :-P
Although I noticed in the dub Catherine and Sally's voices changed half way. I think Catherine had the same voice actor as Dorothy?
Ok, me done. I prefer the dub but I like that the japanese seiyus did the songs :D

Well, for me it is diffrence... Well for example : in Japanese Relena's father had really masculine voice and in American version he was... squealing! Oh and Quatre: in Japanese he had cute but "strong" voice and in American he had voice like a surfer :-? Trieze: deep voice with tendecy to say some syllables longer than necessary and in American version he was...scared?.. Heero and Relena had not that bad voices *they are main character, that's why* . Ok, I admitt that I haven't heard others but I think that American version doesn't have that mood that Japanese version had...

Chibi-sister ,I really don't want to argue with you - everything above is just from my taste  I prefer Japanese version and you prefer American version :D You don't have to cry, it's not a crime that you like American voice actors  Japenese seiyus and their songs rules! <-- in Poland we say something like that when we like something very very much

No argue, I never win, PEACE, they sound good in all. we say stuff like 'rocks', 'rules' and others in australia when we like something.
I actually think that Relena can scream better in the japanese version  nah me no cry really just like the emoticons, they cute. I have BIG respect for the japanese seiyus, its just hard to get use to when I heard GW first in dub.
I use to watch DBZ and some of the voice actors in GW were doing the dub but then another team of voice actors took over and I noticed straight away and never liked it. they made the characters sound soo over the top and dopey.
So in a way I can relate to how u feel. :D
besides, watching GW in japanese might show a difference in the story line....did u know that cartoon network made them dub the show twice because the words like 'kill', 'damn' were not considered suitable, they replaced them with the words 'destroy' and 'darn'.
imagine this, Heero's infamous line was changed to "i will DESTROY you" weird....i'm glad i got the uncut versions! so it was back to "I will kill you" or "I'll kill you" ....YAY!!! :bounce:
Thanks Raspberry, I feel more eager to watch it in japanese, if people didn't say it was good I wouldn't watch it otherwise.
 I like your comment on Heero & Relena's voices "they are the main character, that's why"
*nods*

No problem :D I like to discuss on topics like that  It's really nice to "listen" what others have to say :o

And the same situation was in my case: I fisrt saw GW in Japanese then heard GW in English  But I think you really should listen when Heero says "Omae o korosu" in gravely tone... Or Duo screaming while scartching his head violently    Relena has really intersting voice in Japanese. First she talk like a schoolgirl, then when she becomes Princess she's more strong and determinated, her voice as she. And then when she is Queen and Vice Foreign Minister she has really strog, female voice. You can feel her inner change while listening to her... The same in Endless Waltz :she is calm, logic, yet like girl in her age. I can call it masterpiece. I really, really like her. She is one of my favorite girls from anime!

And we don't have curses, too. But we either don't have changing words like "idiot", "moron", "damn" etc. We have everything like it was in Japanese, with Polish lector  Maybe we have that because anime on one channel *on which I saw GW and other cool anime* is broadcasting on 10 p.m. So it's basically not for 10 year old kids, more like for teenagers. Besides that channel is broadcasting anime with Big Robots *Gundam Wing, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bepop, Candidate for Goddes, Crest of the Stars, Earth Girl Arjuna and many other!*... Ok, I'm babbling so I have to stop *for now hehehehe*. See ya soon!

:D Me too. That's why I joined BI, to discuss some good 1xR!!! :bounce: and the other couples of course
Really? cool, can't wait to hear Relena in japanese, how you described her voice changing along with her maturing is how I see her in the dub.
At first, her voice was annoying being all poshy girly sounding like something from Disney (I still watch Disney comes with the job of babysitting) but after her father died and she found out who she truly was I noticed her voice changed more mature and confident instead of meek.
So cool can't wait to watch it but I got to study for mid-exams  , and I feel guilty of not hearing Heero's "Omae o korosu", shame on me!
I just remembered reading something where "Omae o korosu" was used as a pic up line on some site, they were twisting Heero's words as if he were implying something else in Relena's ear :-P not taking his words literally rather metaphorically..........how rude!

first of all... hat is a man hired to sing for an album not me! I would never be cought dead singing.

Due to our life styles, we must not stay in the same place for too long. So right now we live in a house, soon we'll be in an apartment. Hopefully by summer. Who knows where after that.

And I promise Relena will get back to you... just not right now.

:D :D :D Ooh, new member from Canada, I'm actually residing in Vancouver, BC myself.

Welcome to BI Ayu*!!!

And Heero... you said you're currently living in a house, then thinking of moving to an apartment in the summer? Call me silly, but shouldn't it be the other way around if you're engaged to 'Lena and all? But wait, you never said you two LIVED in the same house, or do you? 8)

have you been to Australia? 8)
you like teddy bears right?
ask Heero to get you a koala bear. :bounce:
they're cute.
and do you have like a pair of teddys, what i mean is my sister has two teddys that have their paws stitched together, ones a boy the other a girl  , they're wearing formal ware.
last qustion, what color teddy bear do you like, pink? :-P
Heero had me sign on...even though I'm so sleepy! :P
I do like bears, Chibi-sitter. I've had my favorite bear, Lance since the day I was born and I wound not ever git rid of him...he's seen the world as a matter of fact! ^_^ I've not been to Australia yet, though I been plenty of other places. My father's carrier involved alot of traveling, and we would often travel with him.
I don't have any bears holding hands, but I've got so many...
Pink is my favorite color, so I do in fact have a pink bear. Heero won it out of a claw machine for me (on his first try!) to my suprise. I thought those things were impossible to win, but he can, and even picked up the exact bear I wanted. If anyone has ever payed a claw machine, you'll know how hard that is!
He's a secret sweetheart -^_^-
Well, I'm off to bed! Night!
