ok i felt the need to defend heeros attitude so this is just a silly little fic of some advice from the daughters of duo... enjoy this comes before modest proposal

?Come on pal, I doubt this year she is going to say yes. How long has it been five years?? Duo stated in a matter of fact fashion from the comfort of his easy chair.
?She has to.? Heero replied. For the last ten minutes he had been pacing up and down Duo?s living room, twice nearly falling over Gabriel?s toys. He looked a mess, he hadn?t eaten or shaved. He needed a plan to win Relena over. Duo seemed like the best option at the time after all he had gotten Hilde down the aisle.

Relena should never have left office. She should have stayed in the Sanq waiting for me. No, that?s not right though. I was being selfish and hopeful that she would always have been there for me, when I had righted enough wrongs and found myself. But instead she did her own thing and had a great time doing it. I was so self centred, what was I thinking?

Silence filled the room as the pair thought of a way to get Relena to say yes.

Giggling jolted Duo from his trance. He?d recognise those voices anywhere.
?Sam, Chloe get in here now!? he shouted, the living room door creaked open and in entered Duo?s pride and joy. His twin girls. Each with long raven braids they entered trying to look as angelic as possible they smiled sweetly at their dad then at Heero.

?And what might I add is so funny??

The pair looked at each other, Chloe nudged Sam to speak.

?Look, we know its non of our business but Uncle Heero comes to ours around this time every year and for what? the same thing. No offence but your tactics are on the useless side, and dad your advice is bad. I thought you were a great Gundam pilot who could solve any mission??

?Those were machines not women, the two are totally different.? Heero groaned collapsing into a chair not really wanting to hear what two fourteen year olds had to say.

?Not necessarily,? Chloe interrupted. ?You just have to know how to tweak them.? Duo wondered how his children knew about boys and their effects on them. Hilde must have given them the talk.

?Lets get back to basics. From history class we learnt that Relena Peacecraft was a political figure, therefore that means she was boring.? Sam started. ?Then after the Eve wars she disappears never to be seen again even though we know her as Auntie Lorri, she sends the coolest birthday presents??

?Your point being?? Duo said.

?Well we know that she left this to pursue another life. One which is far more fun and action packed.? Chloe finished enthusiastically.

?Therefore she needs someone who isn?t going to propose in a monotone way. It has to be in a way which will take her back to them days. When she was let loose and make her feel out of control.?

?I?m still monotone?? Heero asked Duo from across the room. Duo just shrugged not wanting to upset Heero anymore.

?Where did you come up with this anyway?? Duo asked his daughters as they smiled contently and satisfied.

?Oh we read Cosmopolitan.? Replied Chloe.

?I?m going to tell your mother not to let you buy it anymore.?

?Dad! Don?t be so old.? Complained Samantha as she turned to Heero, ?I?m sorry to say this Heero but this may be your last chance. So our advice is to go in and don?t take no for an answer. You cannot and I mean you cannot be yourself.?

?Myself, but???

?No buts Heero its do or die.? Cheered Chloe. ?Take it as a mission as a final mission. Be a man about it. She will be so shocked that her only answer will be yes.? Chloe was beaming at this time. ?And just to add to the tingle factor wear leather pants.?

?Hold on. Tingle factor? leather pants?? Duo stood up at this point. ?I can?t believe you two are talking like this you two are definitely banned from Cosmo! Hilde!?

?Dad!! We?re only speaking the truth don?t you want to help your best friend? And further more dad just because we read it doesn?t mean we?re going round having mad sex with every guy we meet.?

?I?m not hearing this!!! LA LA LA, HILDE!! You two are never leaving the house without me again.? Duo sang with his fingers wedged in his ears. Sam turned back to Heero,

?He?s only like this because he got mom pregnant at like twenty and they had to get married. So Heero do you except this mission??

I?m gonna do it, they may be young but there advice sounds concrete enough for it to actually work. I?ve never worn leather pants before?hmmmm??

?Mission accepted,? Heero got up to leave right at that moment.

?HILDE GET IN HERE NOW!!!!? Duo was still screaming. The twins thought he was over reacting but of course he would know best. Hilde entered with Gabriel in her arms.

?Duo what is it? You woke Gabriel up.? She moaned as she rocked the baby gently.

?It?s you, the she devil and your spawns from hell!? he accused pointing his finger.

?Oh Duo is that it? Their your spawns from hell too. Anyway what have they done nothing is broken??
Duo just muttered curses under his breath. While Hilde examined the room.

?Mom its that time of the year again. And we felt sorry for Uncle Heero. Its really time he got a life and we just gave him some advice from issue 144.? Sam smiled innocently at her mother.

?Tingle factor?? asked Hilde.

?The very one,?

?Good ideas girls I say go for it Heero.? Hilde agreed.

?Urge!! You are as bad as them, I have no time for any of you.? Duo grumbled.

?Daddy don?t be like that. We love you.? Chided the twins, as they tackled their dad on the couch and each giving him a kiss.

?Yeah, yeah but your still banned from Cosmo.? Turning to Heero ?So what are you waiting for man, go and take my hellions advice and do it.?

Heero nodded silently and left the house. Outside the Maxwells waved goodbye.

?Don?t forget what ever you do don?t be yourself.? Shouted Sam as he left.

?Or the leathers.? Followed Chloe as she waved him off.

After Heero was out of sight Chloe turned to Sam,

?It will work wont it??

?Of course it will he cant fail after all we are the Goddesses of Death and we can always find a way for Auntie ?Lorri? to say yes with or without force.? The pair?s evil chuckle made Duo cringe.

?They get that from you.? Hilde whispered as she went back into his house.
