I did a few X-Men:Evolution almost-drabbles (they were around 300 words each or something) and it was great fun. So i wanted to try again...So, weighing in at 104 words (I think) is my humble entry to the Drabble Challenge, long may it live.

And then she squeezed, digging her nails into the back of his palm, feeling the bones underneath his skin shift.
